It's a ridiculously great album. Thanks for watching, boss 🤘

Some old school classics there chief. Sabbat still one i revisit often. Not much of a thrasher there days but the odd band still makes my ears smile.

Sabbat making your ears smile is acceptable 😊 Thanks for watching, Liam 🤘

All of these albums are absolute Thrashterpieces for me too Sean… & albums that still… all these years later… get regular spins with me! I always love hearing the back stories behind albums & why people love them so much! Great video mate & always good to see you sir!🤘🏻

If you enjoyed this one, then I reckon you might like the next thrash one 😉 Thanks for watching, boss 🤘

All bangers, no clangers! What a great intro to thrash metal you had. Not sure I can remember mine, what I had was on dub tapes rather than vinyl I would think. Love these deep dives into your past and collection!
@seanbeast9396 ай бұрын
I had a few dub tapes after I got Among but it certainly wasn't a bad first 6 records to send me off to thrashmageddon 🤣 Thanks for watching, boss 🤘

Good to hear your memories of these albums Beast. All top quality so you were off to a good start and they are ones you can play every week and never get board of them. Sabbat are great, a bit under the radar. I first came across them on a thrash comp in the 00s and their song was a standout on the album, there were big names on it as well. I think we've all had a morning like the Tankard album, great artwork and one of their best I'd say.
@seanbeast9392 ай бұрын
Sabbat never got the recognition they deserved which is a shame. Yeah the Tankard album cover is a reminder of younger days when hangovers were quickly forgotten 😉

If only 'Among the Living' were the first Anthrax album I heard, I would have gotten into Anthrax much earlier than I did. Rarer than unicorn spunk?!? Now, that's an expression I hope to get to use at some point in my life. Love 'Handle With Care' - to me, it's a masterpiece. Excellent video. It's always interesting to get some insight into fellow music fans' individual journeys.

I was certainly fortunate to discover the thrash records I did so early into my journey. I hope you get to use the remark somewhere very inappropriate. Thanks for watching, Kim 🤘

Hi Sean!!! all killer and no fillers at all....... What can i say about Anthrax and their masterpiece, that was the first thing i heard from them and love it from the begining till the end. Down here UK thrash bands never got any exposure maybe other guy back in the day knew about them and other english bands, also Tankard!!! the big name was and still is Kreator at least here. I got into Testament kind of late and much later Nuclear Assault. cheers and be well
@seanbeast9396 ай бұрын
The UK bands didn't seem to get much press over here to be honest. We have some great thrash bands here. Kreator are one of my favourite bands. Thanks for watching, Cristian 🤘

Excellent video, Beast. Some stone cold classics. Not necessary my favourites by these bands, but they are all still brilliant albums, by some of the genres best. Speak soon,buddy 🤘🍻

To be honest, John, there's a couple here that aren't my favourites by the bands, but it wasn't a bad first 6 thrash records to own 😀 Cheers for watching, boss 🤘

Solid vid here beastie mate. Some Belters you’ve dug out! Not really a go to genre for me these days. But you’ve given me an itch that I need to scratch. So been delving back into some of these whilst I’ve been watching the snooker this afternoon! 😉🤘🏻

I think the early thrash will always be a special time in music for me, so I can't imagine not listening to it on a regular basis. I've really enjoyed digging some of the earlier things in my collection out again. Thanks for watching, boss 🤘

Great video Sean! I clean forgot to add a comment yesterday, only just remembered now! Theres 3 here I know really well, and 3 I dont. The Anthrax, Exodus and Testament are all amazing, Anthrax and Testament being my favourite by each! I really need to check out some Nuclear Assault, Tankard and Sabbat. Cheers man 😊🤘🏻

All thrashterpieces them mate. Among was my first thrash buy too. Certainly keep up with these old record videos mixed in with your others. Hey have you watched Alan's latest video? I'd like to see that style of video doing the rounds but I'm guessing lots of people aren't up to the task unfortunately.

Cheers, Mike. Yeah I'll definitely keep popping up with these older records videos. I haven't watched Alan's latest one yet but you have me intrigued now 😀
