SO many skaters I know experience quasi- BPD type of illness. Something in the creative surge, the animosity of skating, the love for it. Like Musicians and artists. Mix that with the ominous drinking culture in skating... no good. Much Love John, you always did remind of a boxer!

I love boxing, man. Idk what it is, my family has nobody else who likes it, none of my friends have ever liked it. In a way it's like skating. If you watch it enough you see how certain guys look so natural in the ring almost like seeing Grant Taylor and others who skate like the rest of us breath. Seeing someone who's so naturally gifted at anything is incredible to see, especially shit like skating and boxing. But that's just my opinion
