This is one of the first couple episodes. Its been offline for a long time, but I just ripped it off the Epicly Later'd Season 1 DVD. I didn't know it was there because I've never put in the DVD before. I am so excited to have this back up.

I worked at Wampum skate shop in midtown NYC, circa 2014-16. Mark would cruise in all the time and talk shop, art, set up a new deck. What a pure soul.

I was talking to my wife today about how much of an influence Gonz had on my friends and I back in the late 80’s and 90’s then this comes up on my KZbin. Gonz and hosoi are two legends of skateboarding and will be remembered as long as skateboarding exists.

How many of you out there (I'm talking to 45 y.o. and better) are exactly like me and these two were your two guys in the mid to late 80s? (I don't mean they were among those you looked up to; I mean these two and that's it, the list stopped!) And it would be sacrilege for you to try and decide who was 1st place and who was 2nd.

For me…..Mark Gonz will always be my favorite. Gonz pushing down the street or doing anything….its just perfect. Christian, I found later. I started in 92-93….so vert was dead. I remember getting some old skate mags and vhs tapes and watching “the old stuff” and just being completely in awe of vert and lips tricks and hand plants….but we didn’t have vert. Leaned more street for me. For me-#1 Mark Gonz , #2 Cardiel

I wonder if any skater has ever just told Mark that he's annoying to his face. He's got the Koston syndrome where so many ppl have told him that he's funny, and not enough ppl have told him otherwise, he constantly feels the need to perform/can't say 1 SERIOUS SENTENCE, everything is a joke
