Thread Painting Landscape Embroidery Timelapse - Poppies 🌅

Hi everyone, this is a timelapse video in fast speed, not a tutorial. Because the working hour is way too long, can’t show all the details. I made it from scratch, and start showing from the simple sketch. Thread painting is really fun, it’s more like painting than embroidery, and lots of the stitches are random and free-hand, gives you a lot of freedom where to place the stitches.
I went a bit crazy for this one and add in lots of poppies flowers, hope you will like it 😊.

Thank you , yes, I used DMC threads for this, but separate the threads and use 1-2 strands.

Thank you 😊 It’s mostly based on real photos, I need reference for the complicated colors and details. But I usually add or remove things, like add flowers or so.

I use 2 strands for background, 1 strand for top layer and details. I have a reference photo for the colors.
