Thank you for the very informative video! I’ve got a question, I hope that you can help me. My hand lift for the presser foot is very tight and difficult to lift up and down while yours seem to just flip easily. Do you have a suggestion on how to fix it. Thank you!
@66Gordo3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching and commenting. I have 2 machines one the lever is really easy to lift the other one isn't. I really don't know what the deal is with them. If you have access to a sewing machine shop or distributor id ask them to be sure. Id only be guessing.

Have you done a video on how to adjust the presser foot height?
@66Gordo Жыл бұрын
Hello. No I haven't did a video on that. I usually have the shop I bought my machine from do the service on my machines.

What size thread are you using? Once I go through the 1st thread guides (the flat bar that you wrap around) and through the next 2 guides it doesn't want to flow. The thread gets stuck on the flat bar sections.
@66Gordo2 жыл бұрын
I used 92 weight. Did you follow your thread path make sure it wasn't getting caught on anything anywhere else. I've never had that problem
@eddieeggleston66422 жыл бұрын
@@66Gordo I had partially followed another video and that's where trouble started. There's a small pin on right side of the first tensioner that he said to go over. And your instructions didn't. Got it going now. Your instructions are correct which I'm sure you know. Thanks for your response.

I'm having issue of getting my thread to pickup from bobin.
@66Gordo3 жыл бұрын
I've had 2 other people have this problem. One was hand cranking his handwheel away from him rather than towards him. Another had problems after he had been messing with the tension. I don't know if the timing might be a possibility also. I hope this helps or you already figured it out

What kind of thread does this machine use?
@66Gordo3 жыл бұрын
I have a video called " nylon bonded thread"
@AffinityTumbling2 жыл бұрын
@@66Gordo I was hoping you would have something for this as well!

You missed the little pin on the tension discs.
@vadim39763 жыл бұрын
Nope. You're totally wrong and this is a common mistake. The only purpose of this pin is to prevent a rotation of the tension discs. He's 99% right. Threading should be done with the presser foot raised.

@@vadim3976 My father and half brother have been sewing for almost 40 years now in the Awning business. I’m still sort of new to it. I had to change the thread, and of course it broke trying to pull through. I went through 30 minutes of aggravation before I came across your comment as my brother and father were out on business.
