I only just heard of The Three Days of Darkness in the last couple of years. I'm a convert to the Catholic Faith, since I was 16 (in 1973). When I was in my 20s however, I had an extremely vivid dream, which I've never forgotten, in which the entire Earth was covered with darkness, and there were wolves ravaging the population. The Lord Himself told me to stay inside, to stay out of the darkness. The only light we could have was from candles. No other lights worked or could work.

@@Pluscelamemechose In the dream they were real wolves. But lately with what's been going on in the government and in the Church itself, I wonder if the wolves aren't symbolic. I remembered the dream clearly, and it's been 40 years. It was less like a dream than any I've had. I wasn't sure at the time if it was meant to be a message. Hearing about the 3 days of darkness and seeing what's been going on,I'm inclined to believe it was a message. There was another part of the dream: In it, it was clear that no one was to leave to go outside; but it wasn't just physically go out into the darkness. There was another level. Where we were staying was a very large, very old house. The house, I understood to be the Catholic Church. No matter how tempted we were to leave the House, we were not to try. Only within the House was there any sanctuary.

Where in the Bible does it say we can only believe what's in the Bible? Saint John tells us that he believes that the whole earth couldn't contain everything about Jesus if it were written down. The Apostles didn't have a Bible. They knew the OT. They knew what Jesus told them and passed that on PURELY. Saint Paul was the first writer in the NT. Later the Gospels were written along with more Pauline letters and those of other Apostles. So we're the Apostles teaching only from the Bible, as you seem to assume .

@@Amateur Hour By Zeus It has NEVER been 10 days of darkness! You are conflating the 10 plagues of Egypt with the 3 Days of Darkness. The Egyptians had 3 days of darkness for the 9th plague, right before the Passover by the Angel of Death (10th plague). The 3 days of darkness (for us) represent the days Jesus was in the Tomb.

Marian Father’s of Immaculate Conception of the most Blessed Virgin Mary. At the bottom of the page it puts places to go to. There is one that says shop. They don’t bless them till they are bought then getting ready to mail. They are bee’s wax and in a glass container. It will not let me put the link in. The priest now I believe first name is Chris..

Hello Dr. Marshall, I am NOT a prophet or anything like that, but recently I dreamt about the beginning of a very dark day. In the dream, people were running and screaming in distress! I had to turn on the first street to go back home, because I was on my way to the grocery store. In the dream, the darkness came all of the sudden, there were no stars, moon, no electricity. I woke up and prayed.

If you have faith you buy a candle and have it blessed.. the end of times is coming.( Not the end of the world) .. In 2020 Father Oliveira from Brazil has seen the death of Bento XVI in the end of 2022. And he was correct, died Dec/31/22. He has many visions about war, pope francis, Russia and he has also dreamed of the 3 days of darkness for 16 years. No man made light will work, no cellphone, very cold day, light up candles and do not look outside and you should pray the rosary during the darkness and do not talk to anyone that calls upon you outside they will be demons. Quite a few spoke of these 3 days of darkness. We have been told not to open the door to anyone, because they will imitate the voices of people we know, but they will be demons. They want your soul. A candle will not burn unblessed, and will not light if in mortal sin.

Mystic Marie-Julie Jahenny from Brittany in her prophetic writings (120,000 pgs) at La Fraudet in 1850-1941 wrote on the 3 days of darkness and the chastisements say specifically the candles need to be made of blessed 100% beeswax candles or they will not stay lit...and one candle will last 3 days. Recommend a new book (May, 2022) by Xavier Reyes-Aural titled "Revelations: The Hidden Secret Messages and Prophesies of the Blessed Virgin Mary" that provides research of many details from several apparitions from La Salette to Fatima to Akita to Garanbendal and Medugorge to name a few and also writings from Saints and Blesseds including Blessed Taigi. The chapter on Jahenny is the most detailed comprehensive prophesies of hers in English that I have found. You can also find his interviews on utube that he has given on several chapters of his book..

First off, people should be employing blessed beeswax candles throughout the year that have been blessed at Candlemas. This is ancient traditional Catholicism. The candles are lit during all saints day , during thunderstorms, if someone has cursed, the candles can clear the demons out of the air. Get your beeswax candles blessed at a traditional Latin mass on Feb 2nd and light them all year round as needed. The three days of darkness will occur on a Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, you hear a huge rumbling thunderstorm start anytime but especially on Thursday afternoon, light up your candles!🕯️🕯️🕯️. In other words, be already in the practice of lighting these candles any time peace is needed in an area.

I would have matches easily accessible just in case, but they do not need to be blessed and I don’t expect we will be needing them. Personally, I trust the Holy Spirit will automatically light the candles.

I cant say anything about this 3 days of darkness, but I can say I had a strange but vivid experience with Jesus. My spouce had discovered Christ. Frankly, I know the stories in the bible ( not an expert by any means) My spouce was so "in on" the bible and Christ....she would not stop talking about HIM. It grew old to honest. It became preachy. I had an odd feeling as if there was another man in her life....but how does one compete with HIM. LOL. So I went to bed and said, OK you got her she is all yours.....then in my sleep....I am standing out on an israeli desert, like in the movies. rocky landscape. I am not afraid, I am alone. I am just standing there and I realize I am a sheep and Jesus is standing ~ 30 feet in front of me....looking out into the desert as if to be looking for danger...and he turns to me and says.... "you belong to me too!". And like a dumb sheep...i just stood there.

I watched a video about the 3 days of darkness and I have to say that it truly did put the fear of GOD in me, and in a positive way, because I have deleted any games on my tablet, I try not to watch TV because ALL of these things are demonic! Every day I have been reading the Bible; OK not as much as I should, but my heart is stronger in GOD!!🙏🙏🙏🕊️🕊️🕊️ And I hope that ALL believer's will pray for the nonbelievers because they really do need it. @Amanda Pryar Oh, bless your heart! Anyone is "allowed" to have them! They just won't work for sinners during the 3 days. You can even make your own 100% beeswax candles (in imitation of what all Traditional Catholic churches use) - NO SUBSTITUTIONS!, and then have a TRADITIONAL priest bless them. You can purchase them, also...there are quite a few sources online. Just make sure you don't buy already blessed candles, as those lose their blessing when purchased! Wear the Brown Scapular, pray the Traditional Rosary (5 decades) EVERY day (Luminous Mysteries *not* part of the Psalter, as the 15 decades imitate the 153 Psalms).

@Amanda Pryar The easiest way to get blessed candles is to go to your Catholic Church and ask your priest for one, and you can usually donate for the candle. There are 2 sizes, but the votive size should work. If you are a bit paranoid, get the large candle which stays lit for 7 days normally.

I have heard this, and have believed for some time that this will come to be. But I wonder how are we to light the candles? Will matches or lighters give lightless flames? Will they still burn us? I’m not truly looking for answers. I choose to believe if I am to survive this trial that God will be my protection, my buckler, my shield. ForTheLoveOfMary - My thoughts are that there’ll be signs that it’s about to begin- a brief warning period- and there’ll be time to light candles in the normal ways. And then all electrical will be wiped out and the darkness begin. No sun or moon and zero electricity. Life will not go back to ‘normal’ after it’s over. It’ll be rustic with no technology or electrical anything. Pray, hope and don’t worry!! God bless us all!

I heard about this in the mid 90's. It seems to me the world would have to be at an exteme point of loss of life and loss of souls with no more conversions, before God would intervene so drastically. Like the time of Noah. Every generation thinks it's reached the worst point of history. We need to focus on conversions and reparation of sin. As well as growth in love and knowledge of God and conforming and abandoning our hearts to God's divine will. As Catholics we should always have and use blessed candles for daily prayer, during storms, times of war or strife, and when someone is dying. So even if the 3 days of darkness did come in our lifetime we would already have them out on our home altars ready to light at the beginning of any strife.

We are already 2 days into the darkness and will soon be in the third. Darkness is all over outside the Church, where inside the only Light lit is the True Presence. Those outside are already dead/demons - do not listen to anybody outside the Church beckoning you to come out, and away from The True Presence. Your conscience should already be illuminated given the Prophets & Christ’s Word (scripture) - don’t look for another sign as you’ve already been given the sign of Jonah - Christ’s Resurrection! Peace should be with you, not fear. Stop worrying about ‘beeswax candles’ (physical things) and Sanctify/Consecrate YOURSELVES and your FAMILIES, lean on Christ & the Saints, & receive Eucharist worthily and you and your family will be safe and at Peace!

We need the light of of the Lord in us, most. I urge you to have a relationship with the Holy Spirit. Be careful with focusing on rituals, ‘idolatey’ kind of practices, idols of the heart. Memorize , internalize Psalm 91. Soak in the Word. The time has come- for us to worship God in spirit and truth. Have your candles ready; however don’t be misled / deceived that we put all our focus on preparing things, instead of our heart. Focus on the Word of God. Holy Spirit is the key, the insurance. My daughter who I named for Annemarie Tiagi had a distinctive dream when she was 7 of 3 days of darkness and fire coming from the sky. I never mentioned this kind of thing to her. She’s a high functioning Asperger, so she repeated the dream exactly for me. I personally believe in the 3 days darkness. I also believe the “rapture “ the Protestants believe is true, but in the inverse because at the end Annemarie said “all the bad people were gone”.

In 2016, I had a dream about fire coming from the sky. In the dream I just wake up in a morning hour. There was a multitude of people including my friends and many others walking all over my house which in real life can't happen as that much of a crowd can't fit inside my house. A teacher i know with a huge crowd was gathered in my verandah until the front gate and every other nations were also gathered in front of our gates and around the neighbourhood having a great time dancing and playing football like games. Suddenly everyone stopped all that and gathered together infront of my front gate facing the East, with their backs turned towards us. And then a shirtless white guy who was at the frontmost line hoisted a red gigantic flag that reached high to the endless sky that wouldn't happen in real life. And without thinking I also hoisted a similar purple flag that felt not so heavy, while staying where I was standing outside under my roof far behind the crowd. It was a cloudy day with orange and yellowish sky and the clouds suddenly turned into a whirlwind shape. Then there were no more streetlamps (which in real life stood along the narrow path in front of my gate) to be seen like they disappeared into thin air. Three unknown ships that looked like stone benches came down raining fire. I was shouting 'aliens'. We ran everywhere. Then the scene changed and I was in the front line of a crowd that had fallen face down yet raized their heads to look at what's going on. Three human figures wearing long-sleeved robes and hideous looking masks were around a huge fire which I instantly felt like people were burning in it. The 3 figures were glowing in a gloomy fiery colour. I felt like me and the crowd behind were about to be burned next. I tried to grab some burned coals that were in front of me to make a fire around us to save us. Then one of my friends who was laying down on her belly right next to me grabbed my hand saying, 'That's a very stupid thing.' Then the dream ends. All I pray and hope is never to end things that way whether it was a prophetic dream or not, cause it was terrific.

Could a day mean a year? I've lamented for humanity and myself for mercy from our Lord especially these last three years. Is it the light within us? All my friends say we were in pre-trib and the time has not come. I have never cried and prayed for the salvation of EVERYONE. Why the huge disparity of reality...so thick you could cut it with a knife. Jesus told me.."Hold on to Me for I keep My Promises" and I am. In the Gospel Jesus says, "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid." John 14:27 Maybe I'm way off track, but it doesn't seem that way to me. Like future is past? Jesus protected and still protects his flock. I have St. Benedict medals over my windows and doors, the blessed candles, my scapular and more. Jesus abides in me. I am holding on to Him...very tightly and He is infinite love.
