Holy Dropped a dub of a beautiful story I was here to devor it all minutes after minute Out standing work with the pacing, editing, voice acting, and music choices. Bravo to those behind the comic dub adaptation Bravo

"In 10 years, we'll finally feel like we're glad to have lived." That line reminds me of something my grandma said to me: "I've heard this all before. 'After you finish school, after you get a job, after you get a family...' so on and on it goes. Don't wait for permission to go and do the things you *actually* want to do." She had a lot of gems, now that I think back on my time growing up. Another of my favorites: "Regret weighs down us older folks, sure. But I think it weighs heavier on your generation. You cannot put yourselves at peace if you're constantly surrounded by comparisons and regret."

silently disturbing, that is what comes to mid when watching this. it fills me with a melancholy that makes me reflect on my own wasted life, it tastes bitter.
@JL325067 ай бұрын
Good medicine can be quite bitter. Keep taking it, you'll eventually heal, and if you don't... then at least you fought well. I think there's solace in both outcomes.

"Good medicine tastes bitter," and this series is very good medicine. It's been so long since I felt my heart moved, but I'm happy that it has been.

Solus, this is your Magnum Opus. This series brought to life by you has shown me how vastly different our actions can be interpreted from different perspectives. I feel like it's teaching me what I need to know to move forward on this journey of life and embrace life's fleeting moments with gratitude.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR DUBBING THIS It's one of my favourite short series in recent years, because the story portrays the characters completely in their flesh and blood without using too much pages, and it invokes topics about whether or not to pass your long life in vain, or to burn all your passion and hope in this world for fuel to live a fulfilling but uncertain life. (You watched the gigguk video too right)

No fucking way, someone actually adapted the manga?! This has been a cult classic since it's inception, and it'd be a fantastic thing if this ever get a movie adaptation due to the shortness of it, but I'm sure there's a way to at least make this an hour long movie. I know there's a lot of me's out here who started reading this manga because of "that" one youtube video titled "Life is too short" I can't find where that video is now, but it has saved a lot of people along the way, it was just a compelling title, with bright anime girl on the screen and a beautiful piano music in the background, very mellow, and melancholic. The comment section of that video was filled with people with thoughts of doubting their worth in this life and one specific comment stood out the rest in that section. It was a person referring to this manga, and under it's replies hundreds of people including myself were thanking the person for referring such a beautiful manga to read. This was eye opening, and such a surreal experience. Great, great, great manga. And I cannot thank this channel enough for giving it new life, and bringing it more attention, because it deserves all the effort and exposure it gets. Though I am not gonna watch this, just because I don't ever wanna go through the emotional rollercoaster this manga incites. But this is definitely a great adaptation for both who has read it or those who have not. Thank you very much for making this dub Solus Astorias.
