I once played a rather quixotic paladin. He was a human paladin who served a dwarf god, shortly after having a revelation from being kicked in the head by his mule. @@stankobarabata2406 Oh come on, Highschool DxD has a pretty cheesy typical start but later on behind every girl there's fair bit of trauma (hell, we later get to know why the hell the horny teen doesn't do anything with any of them - spoiler, also fucking trauma), also of note is that first two seasons were in decent proximity to each other while 3rd season was made by a different studio a decade later? Redo of Healer is a different genre entirely and I'm not steppping into that... As for Ballbundy he did smut in his signature at this point style but if I remember correctly he made a couple commisions for the whole 'horny advances rejected' and people loved it, he stuck with it and his popularity skyrocketed - he found a niche nobody knew was there. So he wasn't per se rejected, it's just in the beggining he tried to exist in overly saturated market ^^'

Baalbuddy's writing and artistry are always top-notch, but this made made me love every single character, even the ones like the guard who are just side characters. I think a lot of that also comes down to the stellar voice acting on everyone's part. They're not just believable, but they're incredibly funny and personable too. Chadford though is pretty wholesome with how supportive and caring for his son he is, even when Will wants nothing to do with him.
