We were pretty shaken up after being hit by a semi truck. But, we decided we just had to keep going.

We took 3 days to drive out to South Dakota. Best of all, there were some cool places to stop along the way. Better was the places we spent the nights. The first was a winery in Illinois. The next was an old frontier fort in Minnesota.

We were very lucky. We could of been easily killed. We were definitely had God's hand of protection over us. The RV in is the body shop right now and should be finished in 2 weeks.

Had to look up the statue. Here is some information about it. Dignity represents the courage, perseverance and wisdom of the Lakota and Dakota culture in South Dakota. My hope is that the sculpture might serve as a symbol of respect and promise for the future.
