Glad to see someone else playing Angels, my top end is 3 Domini, 2 Ophani ace, 2Seraphi ace, and 2 Cherubi ace. The bt16 magnaangemon is a must in this deck. The combo you can get from him and Domini is really good. Digi into Magna, effect to digi from security at reduced cost, digi into Domini, Domini effect play another bt16 magna and you get to do it again. Granted you need to do some prep work in setting up your security but since most of the deck has the ability to add to security an angel of choice it’s not that hard.

@@MrJsStrategyPlays the level 4s I’m running are 4bt14 Angemon, 3bt16 Angemon, 3ex6 Angemon. The level 5s I run are 2bt14 MagnaAngemon ace, 3bt16 Magnaangemon, and 3ex6 Arkhai Angemon. This line up has been working pretty well for me. I keep going back and forth on the egg between Tokomon and Kyaromon. Being able to get jamming from the egg is nice but the ex6 Ange has barrier to protect himself if needed, but the card draw comes up too. Are you running any of the Descent of Three great angels? I run it at 2 and that card has come up clutch with Dominimon.

10:55 You can't go plus one security with ArkhaiAngemon. Its a "By doing X..." Effect, so you can't activate it, If you choose not to pay the cost. This also includes the "then" afterwards.

Actually, yes, he can. The By doing X is a seperate effect from the Place 1 card in security. The rules state: "11-8-1. Some effect text uses a format such as "do X. Then, do Y" where actions are split into two parts by the "then." In such effects, first the "do X" part is performed, then the following "do Y" part is performed. 11-8-2. These effects will activate even if the "do X" part, "do Y" part, or both parts can't be performed."

Official QnA about ArkaiAngemon: Q1 If I have 0 security cards or if I don't add the top or bottom card of my security stack to the hand for this card's [On Play] [When Digivolving] effect, can I activate the part of the effect after "then"? Jun. 28, 2024 Updated A1 No, you can't. If you don't meet the conditions specified for "by X" in such an effect, the rest of the effect won't activate. Same with Ex5 WeregarurumonX

I'm very confused about what happened at 5:37 How did you Evo ophani and swing? And how did you pop the seraphi with magna ace in sources and not keep turn?

Ophanimon ace all turns effect gives sec +1 and allows you to attack

At 6 mins when he played tk n grabbed a security card n place one doesn’t orphanimon ace activate its all turn effect to recover since a security card was removed during your opponents turn?

It only triggers when it is your own security that gets removed.

Fun fact, at 1:40 when you use emissary you draw for Evo before recovering with emissary or seraphi. This is because drawing for Evo is part of the Evo and not an effect. Meaning when emissary tells you to Evo from security part of that action is drawing the card

That yellow armor vaccine was making so many missplays, first attacking with summoning sickness, then with tk putting a patamon on the sec, when patamon i not a yellow vaccine, is a yellow data

I didn’t notice Pata in security but you’re right he shouldn’t have been able to do that either. Blue did win a locals tourney with this deck, but he had been on leopard the last few weeks lol
