In August 21' I had a R side TLIF surgery, cage was inserted at 4/5 L.. post operatively the pain returned in vengeance ..fast forward to the New Year 22.... return to surgeon, who ordered new images.. XR showed the cage had migrated, thus requiring a revision surgery, with hardware applied this time ( screws/ plates) The migrated cage was not removed.. my sciatica has only worsened and I'm being told now that I'm having failed back surgery syndrome . I've exhausted corticosteroid epidural's, nerve ablations and PT to no avail.. the only thing my surgeon is offering me is a spinal cord stimulator. Your thoughts??

Lumbar spondylosis refers to the bone spurs coming off of your lumbar vertebrae. Sciatica is the pain and numbness that people get down their leg. Hope that helps differentiate

Thank you so much for the great videos! I've been doing alot of reading on Spondylolisthesis ( vertebra that slides forward) and Retrolisthesis ( Vertebra that slides backward). Was wondering the term used when a vertebra slides or moves from side to side? I have a ligament/muscle pulling my Spinous Process out of alignment from the side. Hi Dr. Daniel, I always hear about pain going down the back of the leg. In my case, when I bend forward, the pain goes down the front of my leg. What could be the problem

Tight muscles in those areas can definitely make this difficult. Changing the angle of your knee may help
