Wonderful tones from all but in the end practicality comes into play.

My choice is certainly the grand tweed de luxe too with each guitar! Thank you for sharing

As a fan of hollow/semi-hollow guitars, I’m hoping that as you were loading the car, you found that there was juuuust enough room for the 335 also..... 😁👍🏻. Hope to see some of the session here on KZbin soon! Thanks Thor!

From certain angles I can see the image of a skull faded onto your Les Paul (I assume from a sticker). Looks really cool actually! Great sounding amps and playing.

I'm not usually a Strat guy, but damn, that one sounds heavenly!

Not sure if I’ve ever heard a Tweed Deluxe with the blue speaker in it before. Sounds pretty wonderful.

I like the dumble clone. But they are all killer tone machines.

that strat tone is gorgeous. I've fallen in love with the P90's, and have loaded a strat with P90 single coil size pick ups, very interesting tone. JJ's similcaster pick up set.

My choices exactly and before you mentioned it, I thought of leaving the 335 at home because the Grecko seems to cover lots of ground with those great sounding pickups. As usual, the Tweed wins again and It's easily your best sounding amp. Enjoy the recording Thor! Oh, BTW, your Strat sounds 🔥

Thanks Christopher. Interesting that you picked the same guitars and amp as me. PS! Remember to put in some guitar playing time in between your running sessions. 😀

It's interesting you chose the Eminence cannabis rex for the ODS. Did you get inspired by anyone else or you just discovered it yourself first? I find this speaker is kind of Hi-Fi. It also has a lot of sensitivity so the amp sounds much louder than normal, right?

Hi, I initially got the Cannabis Rex 12 speaker for my Blues jr. and I wanted to experiment with putting it in this extension cabinet. I found it sounded great with the Blues jr.. So I tried it with my Dumble style amp and it was sounding awesome also with that. I think that this Fender Deluxe 1x12" cabinet also contributes to the characteristics of the tones. It originally came with a Celestion G12P-80 speaker, but there is no going back to that 😄 I wouldn't say that the Cannabis Rex is louder. It has a warm tone that breaks up in a wonderful way. Cheers.

What pickups are in the Les Paul?
@GUITARSGIZMOS3 ай бұрын
Hi, from what I have been told it's most likely Fujigen-made Screamin' PAFs or Tokai's MK2s. I talk about the Greco Les Paul in this video if you're interested in more details: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oWGtqaKQat1moKssi=ImH1kR8I_yDbKBo_

The amp doesn’t really matter, i think you should try different tone woods instead. 😂
