SRF & YSS Kirtans are always divinely up-lifting, but, this one was perhaps the Best Kirtan ever! Perhaps because of the choice of chants and the singing. Many New chants were included. The Monastic accompaniments on various instruments were such a joy to watch and listen to. Singing was perfectly On-The-Beat. As always, Devotion to God & Gurus was flowing from each Monastic. The Invocation ("Hymn to Brahma") as well as the concluding Sanskrit Gita verse (which Brother Brahmananda-ji explained is Arjuna's words of prostrations to Bhagwan Krishna expressing his boundless Gratitude to the Lord of the Universe), perfectly captured the purpose of a Kirtan - to Humbly Praise the Lord as an expression of our Devotion and Gratitude!
