Agreed. I think also his upbringing has a lot to do with it: seeing the way the world is through the experience of being Gypsy and experience of his elders. It's a "real" ethos of looking at life from or within a certain perspective. Not educational bells and whistles of sophistication. But a classic "down to earth" quality that keeps a person real amidst the pretenses of the world.
It's great to see Tyson so happy and positive. The way he picked himself up after hitting rock bottom and came back stronger than ever is nothing short of inspirational.
We were all conned with his mental health bullocks it was a 3 year ban for his positive drugs test before the klitchko fight he went on the drugs and shagging prostitutes for a few years 😊

This guy really is becoming an inspiration. The way he has beaten his demons and opened up about his struggle is remarkable - especially for someone coming from a background where there's so much pressure on guys to be macho. He said some ugly things during his bad period, but now we're seeing the real man - charitable and compassionate - and it's time to forgive. He'll be fine after he retires, because his main mission now is to help people who are struggling with their mental health, and he's going to have a positive impact on many, many lives.

The problem for Wilder is he landed 5 or 6 clean right hands on Fury in the first 2 rounds of the rematch, and Fury didn't get wobbled because he had that extra weight and better conditioning than in the first fight. So unless Wilder suddenly becomes Sugar Ray Leonard and boxes Fury on the back foot with silky footwork then he is in serious trouble for the trilogy and he knows it.

Following Fury since Klitschko has been such a wild journey of emotion. To see a man who came around as a big mouthed man who everyone thought was just gonna be the next man to be shut down by klitschko, shock the world and take those belts was something special, only to slide into depression, self-loathing and suicidal thoughts and vacate that title was a painful experience for many of us. Especially painful for those of us who have the same mental struggles in life. Its been one of the greatest moments in sporting history to watch him fight his way back, only for him to be robbed of a victory by biased judges and then come back and shock the world, doing something that even his biggest fans didnt expect. He has, without a doubt, cemented himself, not just as a great of this era, but as one of the all time greats. A story they'll tell in years to come and will be told by old men to the young like a man of myth, just as Ali is spoken of.

It's a shame that these two never had their fight... It would have been a huge British showdown. Hopefully we'll still get the AJ fight before it's all said and done.

big respect for both of them. Haye got mocked bigtime for his injuries, but at the Bellew fights it was clear to see that his injuries where real. his body was busted, he was never faking.
