Three Nite P-30 trim flight at Washoe Lake, Nevada flying site

This is the latter portion of a trim flight of a rubber powered free flight model airplane that I built that meets the P-30 rules. Sorry that the plane is so far in the distance. The video was taken with a cell phone camera. This is the glide portion of the flight in which the propeller is free wheeling. The model glides well, but catches some down air toward the end of the flight. This P-30 is my own design I developed for beginners. It has a flat wing with tip plates and no dihedral. Under the P-30 rules the model must not exceed 30 inches in any dimension, must weigh at least 40 grams, and the lubricated rubber motor must not exceed 10 grams. The propeller must be a commercial plastic propeller with an approximate diameter of 9 1/2-inches.
