I wonder how well this would work for dirt biking.

would be nice to have only chest protector - for those that run a backpack.

POC products are great, it's a shame they are sooooo overpriced.

@K O thanks 👍 I've recently acquired a POC helmet, I'll see how that lasts and will bare your comment in mind.

as collarbone is a common cycling injury, why make a chest/spine protector that does not also protect the clavicle?
@wumbobo4 жыл бұрын
usually collarbones arent broken by direct impact, they usually happen when you crash and your arms are spread out, and that force from your arm is transmitted straight back to your shoulder and collarbone. So, there's really no way to prevent these, even with shoulder braces.

$160 USD for a pair of shorts? Fancy fabric or not, I'll stick to my $19 C9 shorts from Target.
@gritdegrosse72333 жыл бұрын
Why ignore the ribs???? You can break your ribs in a fall and it would be easy to just make the chest protector wrap around or the spine protector wrap to protect the ribs better? Also, why make the front have no perforations --your customers say in the review how heavy this is and hot in the front while this is only, still just a CSE 1 not a 2. Drop the price by $50 and you would have the market.

Expensive! But durable! Calm colours if you don’t wanna look like a jockey! Covered thousands of miles in my gear on and off the bike! That body armour tho will cook your organs if you have too much peddling to do !!

like how hot are we talking. what temp would you not take it out in if you were climbing uphill about 6 miles. 1000-1500 vertical.

Philip Guidon I’ve removed the chest and back panels on mine which leaves me with shoulder and elbow pads . Which suits me on pedally days upto 37 !!! I’ve never felt the need to fully armour up no matter how rough it is . If I do it will be on uplifted rides only.
