Instagram - AdamTheWooATW The changing up of content is something I’ve been wanting to do for some time now . I am fully aware this will not grown my channel or get the views as much as theme park stuff or constant personal daily vlogging but that’s ok. For rest of the year this will be the standard . It’s very rewarding and I appreciate the comments . Best part is knowing others enjoy what I’m doing and hearing their memories .

I met John Ritter in Hawaii in 1985 after Three’s Company wrapped. He was staying at the same hotel. He was the nicest guy you could meet. So down to earth and so friendly. I had his autograph, but lost it over the years. I’m sure you would agree that ‘Up in the Air’ from season 6 is the best and most funniest episode. In fact, it was the episode that got him the Emmy win. RIP John Ritter. Your brilliant comedy is missed.

That's amazing that you ran into John Ritter. He sounds like he was a real nice guy. He is missed. Also , I can't agree with you more on the "Up in the air episode" or "The Rocket" as I like to call it. John Ritter is brilliant and out of control in this episode. It's so physical, and amazingly well choreographed. To get all of the sight gags to work must have been difficult to pull off. It's my favorite episode too.

In fact the very first video I ever saw of yours was where you went to Chicago and did the “Family Matters” and “Married With Children” filming locations. I met John as a child, he was 14 yrs older than me but his father Tex Ritter grew up in Nederland Texas, 2 blocks from where my father grew up 30 years later. They were there for Tex Ritter's funeral, he was buried in Port Neches. I remember MomMom and PopPop's neighbor took me with her to take some things over to Tex's sisters house, where Tex grew up. That is where I had met John the first time. Another time I met John and Tom at the Tex Ritter Historical Park, it is a Dutch Windmill in Nederland, there was some kind of dedication or memorial going on. I went to the ceremony between leaving college class and going to work (which I was late getting to lol). Tom remembered me but I don't remember much of John that day. But still was a nice memory I love all the work you put into showing us these places of historic reference and you giving us all the inside information. It is really wonderful work you have done. I really miss seeing you daily but I know this work is not something easily conglomerated and presented. You have done a marvelous job and I am terribly impressed .. that and $5.48 wil get you a cup of coffee at Starbucks hahaha. Thank you so much for all the things you have done

Great video! I had the pleasure of meeting John Ritter in 1990, at Disneyland. He was there filming a morning show called AMLA, starring Steve Edward's and Christina Ferrare. John was super nice! He was standing in the back, behind the cameras, waiting to go on. He noticed that I was chewing gum, and signaled that he wanted a piece. My wife and I went over to him, gave him some gum, and chatted for a few. He took a pic with my daughter, and I cherish it to this day. It was funny to watch the morning show the following week , and see him chewing the gum I gave him. Lol.

Growing up in Southern California in the '80s I used to love going to the LA Zoo to see the filming location of Three's Company's opening credits as much as I liked going to see the animals. My dad and I used to sing the theme song as we walked up that broad entranceway path. The entrance from the '70s and '80s was so much more elegant with the white walls and the waterways. The current one is modern, but doesn't have the same sort of charm.

OMG I was waiting for years for someone to make a video like this! Thank you so much for taking the time and effort! Much appreciated! I live in Los Angeles and every time I visit the Santa Monica Pier I'm always thinking of the Three's Company intro and it makes me sad so many of the stars of the show are now gone. It must have been a fantastic experience to meet Joyce DeWitt. I've always wished to meet any of the cast members and now there are so few of them still alive. I think it's pretty much Joyce DeWitt, Suzanne Somers, Priscilla Barnes, Jenilee Harrison, and Richard Kline. I have all the episodes and pilots in my computer and never tire of watching them. Love the show and always will!

I was lucky to watch the taping of Threes Company about 3 times at CBS. We would line up before the show over an hour before it began. I went to watch the episodes in the early years of the show, before Don Knotts got involved. There was one episode that the cast was eating a birthday cake and Susanne Summers had just a bite and asked the audience who wants her piece. Naturally, EVERYONE raised their hands. One of the cast members said, "Who wants a cake that has Suzanne's hair in it!" I was able to get Joyce Dewitt's and Norman Fell's autograph after the filming...unfortunately I threw all my autographs away I had from, Threes Company, Soap, Taxi and Mork and Mindy.

This was so fun! I loved that show so much and wanted to be a part of their lives. Of course it was a young girl when I started and it took me through HS! Thanks for putting together yet another Wonderfully nostalgic vlog!

My family and I had attended one shooting of a "Three's Company" episode back in the early 1980s. I do remember seeing at the CBS Studios off Fairfax Avenue. And I also recall the soundstage being rather cold. We've also seen the filming of episodes from "Taxi" (at Paramount Studios), "The Ropers" and "Benson" (at the ABC Studios off Prospect).

I was a extra on John Ritters show 8 simple rules. We filmed the school lunchroom scenes in the morning and then left. I remember overhearing a crew member talking saying John's running late etc. Then the news of him passing away came out early the next morning. That was pretty sad. I did get to meet Henry Winkler tho who was guest starring on that weeks episode.

Though I saw the 'Three's Company' intros, I'm just seeing the scenery now. My gaze was too busy being hypnotized by Janet and Chrissie's sweet, little hineys.

Always loved when Stanley Roper (Norman Fell) cracked a joke about Helen, then would turn and smirk for the camera. Damn hilarious.

I’m really enjoying these filming locations. Lots of research and I love the perfection of the lineups. We all know what huge John Ritter fan you are and this pays a nice little tribute. Adding the mural of him was a nice touch! Excellent work!!!

Just like Suzanne Somers in the wig, here is another piece of trivia for you. In the opening credits when they are at the zoo, Joyce DeWitt is at the petting zoo and there is a little kid there with her. That is actually Jason Ritter, son of John Ritter. The vlog might have been to long and it ended up on the cutting room floor. But if you didn't know, I thought I would share.

Yes I remember it perfectly because John was doing 8 Simple Rules at the time. Kaley Cuoco who played one of his daughters still talks of him fondly. I believe Katey Sagal does too. It was such a sad episode . Props to the rest of the cast for having to do that on the fly.

Wow! Thank you for that walk down memory lane. I loved "Threes Company" when it I was a kid. I still love it 40 years later! I introduced the show to my teenage daughter. She loves the show and Jacks physical comedy! She loved John Ritter so much we even visited his gravesite at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Burbank to pay our respects. Her all time favorite scene was when Jack and Janet went out. Jack comes back to the apt. totally drunk, he couldnt get his clothes off in the living room! LOL!!! "DONT PUSH!!!" And when he couldnt get his shoes off, he tries to reach for them and follows it up with a funny line...."Come here!" LOL!!! My all time favorite line from the show..... (Chrissy)..."If women ran the world we wouldnt have any of these stupid wars!" Mr Ropers classic comeback..."Yeah, all the countries nag each other to death!!!" LMAO!!! What an example of talent! You can still laugh at those scenes today! I could never visit Santa Monica and not think about the show, the cast and where all these locations are and where they would live!. As you said.... using your imagination! Amazing! :)

Adam I love this. You live in a place were in my mind. So much tv and movie and so much more of history was born. I had no idea that Chrissy was the brunette that. Jack turned to look at has she was walking and then jack fell into the sand off his bicycle. That was so cool. I had thought it was Janet. Great video Adam Thank You.
