thanks for this video. is it possible to control external midi gear with the synth? for example: 2 internal polyend synths and one plugin in ableton with the grid-keyboard?

I haven’t tried yet but it’s most likely possible as you can turn off the local control per grid parts and there is a midi out

I have the tracker and I think this one will be available soon, but one question Stazma, in case you have tried it. You can put up to 3 synths at the same time. Have you tried recording the MIDI notes on the tracker? Can they be separated into different channels or does it only recognize one? I don't know if I'm explaining myself well. Thank you very much!

​@@sandroidmusic both, because something that is not clear to me is that on the website and in the manual it says that it has a sequencer, but how many steps? Can that sequence be copied to the tracker afterwards? If I then create a sequence from the tracker, on the corresponding MIDI channel where the polyend synth is, which synth will be affected? Or do you have to assign 3 MIDI channels?

@@LvL0-x7r First of all - Synth is not a groovebox or a sequencer. It's is first and foremost a.. synth.. a sound canvas. If you want to sequence it, it is best to do it with another device. And it does not have any recording capabilities. The Synth sequencer for the 3 engines/slots is very rudimentary, but supports recording up to 64 steps and they are independent for each engine/slot. So you could have 3 different sequences. They are stored with your scene. There is no such thing as pattern switching or multiple patterns. And it has no editing capabilities. So if you make a mistake? You're gonna have to start the sequence all over. I have not tried if you can record into it via MIDI. But i could see this not working due to how adding rests works - you add a rest by pressing Shift while recording a sequence. You can "sequence" the three engines in the Synth via MIDI of course. So sequencing from the Tracker to the Synth is no problem. Each Engine can have it's own MIDI Channel (or the same). Each of the 3 engines/slots can send MIDI out as well. So you could use the pads to record notes into another device.
