This is the unfortunate reality of being a tourist in major European cities. As a general rule in Paris, if someone approaches you speaking ENGLISH it's going to be a scam. Have your wits about you and learn some French phrases to politely tell them to F**K off

Thank you for mentioning the Rio Ferdinand show. We lost my dad last year two weeks after he was diagnosed with lung cancer. It was obviously by far the hardest thing we've been through as a family. That show was heartbreaking but also a little therapeutic. Rebecca's parents have the same names as mine... totally got me. Thanks for sharing.

Take a look at some of the scams you could encounter in Paris. In this particular one, a gypsy will drop a gold ring on the ground near you and say in ENGLISH (knowing you're not a local) "excuse me you dropped this" so you approach them to see what it is. This either goes two ways: They'll want payment for it or use it as a distraction to pickpocket you. Generally speaking if anyone approaches you speaking English, you can almost be sure you're about to fall victim to a scam. It's a sad reality. Take a healthy dose of scepticism with you and you'll be fine!

Oh Lydia, there's such rude commenters on here! I absolutely love everything about what you do- you bought a bag that you've obviously carried NUMEROUS times (literally prior to Vlogmas and beyond) and now you've bought it in the beautiful pink color.
