I've senn some other youtubers "like you", they are living a quite same live. But when I look at them I feel like they want to show their richness and how "bossy" they are. (Sorry, but in german I could impress myself much better...) But when I look at you (such a beautiful woman) I just see passion and love for what you are doing. And when you talked about the bad comments I couldn't believe that you even care about them. I am a physician , i am a mom , a wife , a sister, a daughter a friend juggling roles all the time like we all do . I do occasionally find some of the content a bit unrelatable when it is buying lots of really expensive things, but I just go 'ok that's not me' and keep watching or click off. Girl, dust your shoulders off and let the negative people pass through your life like water through a sieve. The nature of your work means you cannot exorcise them from your life completely, but no one is immune from negativity (some less than others). The key, I think, is to keep them from taking up space in your life as they move through it. Wish them well and make your life so full of love and joy and contentment that when miserable energy comes knocking on your door, there is literally no room in your life to entertain it. There is no place for it to sit, no place for it to lay, no place for it to do anything at all but to leer at you on the way out of the door. It will never stop knocking, hoping for a way in, but you will get better at turning it away faster and faster. You look like you are leading a life you love and I wish you continued joy and happiness leading that life on your own terms.

Ok Lydia, I always watch an entire vlog before commenting, but have actually HAD to pause & haven't even watched to the end of your very honest chat as I basically am BURSTING to say something. I don't know if it's because I'm older that I just don't get the negativity on here, or if it's because I'm so content with who I am, the lovely family & life my Husband & I have created for ourselves, that I genuinely don't yearn in a jealous & ugly way to covet what others have. That said I have NEVER been that type of girl, I can say that with hand on heart. I have noticed it on here more & more recently & on other channels & I don't get it for various reasons. Firstly, you CHOOSE to follow people & subscribe on here & other social media sites. You don't like what you see, jog on. Simply jog on. No need for hateful comments. I felt the need to address comments that were made in Ali's Maldives blog. People think because they have an insight into your life that they actually know you. It drives me NUTS. Ultimately Lydia, what I'm trying to say (in a very long winded way 😂😂) is that most of what is said is motivated by jealousy. Plain & simple. You MUST know that. Saddos who feel some sort of validation by trying to dim YOUR light. Happens in every walk of life. It's a nasty, nasty fact of life which is made even worse by the way we live our lives through social media. Your light is shining SO brightly Lydia, do NOT move away from who you are. If you can't be yourself, you have nothing & you will very quickly lose your inspiration & sparkle because lets face it, that's what has made you successful from the very beginning. People LIKE you. The essence of you, so quite frankly, feck the haters, they are always going to be there. I understand it being wearing, but put on those big girl panties & continue to smash it. You are so deserving of your success, & I understand this sharing wasn't to garner sympathy votes, but sometimes a pep talk is essential for us all! 😂 You are a great girl living a great life. I think it's hard as viewers to relate as much to youtubers now because of the success of KZbin and how much companies use them now to market their brand and products. It means that so many youtubers I watch now have very reasonable incomes (especially for their age) get to go on extravagant trips monthly and get sent insane amount of products and vouchers etc to spend. It's absolutely incredible and I am in no way begrudging you or others that have this lifestyle but it does almost create this sort of celebrity unattainable culture which unfortunately brings with it lots of jealousy and negativity from viewers. We are seeing a small magical amount of your life and it's hard to not compare yourself to that and be left feeling a bit average and less than. Also I have sadly noticed that because a youtubers job is based on talking about themselves, promoting themselves, looking at themselves etc it can become quite a self obsessed world and I always wonder how that effects their relationships with those around them and how much it changes them. It must be hard to keep a level head sometimes and not buy into your own hype. I think you are a genuine and lovely person so I would love to know how you handle it and whether this is something you have or do struggle with? Ha this post probably won't be seen but it's been something I've been thinking about quite a bit lately so thought I'd post. Xo

I'm so sorry that you have to deal with such judgement and criticism. I'm just a random 40 year old from Minnesota in the US with a husband and three young girls. I go to your vlogs with my coffee in hand to relax and take some me time. I had no idea that you received negative comments. I can't imagine what they are talking about because you are such a lovely person. I'm glad you found these girls who can help you realize that you aren't alone. Jealousy brings out the worst in people and that's exactly why they are trying to bring you down. Just keep in mind that there are hundreds of thousands of people watching, and just a select few who decide they need to take time out of their day to try to bring someone down. Those people aren't worth your time and energy. But I know, easier said than done. But next time you receive negative comments, look at the view count of your video and put it into perspective - it's such a small number. Take care and keep being YOU!

I'm vegan so even that would upset me, but compared to how it actually does happen it would be a lot better. When you get the chance, have a quick look at the images on the internet and hopefully you will understand where I'm coming from. They starve cows so they are skin and bones, tie them up with chains and skin them alive.

Christal Kleva actually the leather industry is separate from the beef/dairy industry. So cows skin isn't a "by product" of the meat. They produce cows purely for the leather industry.

Poppy Jones there are cats that like being outside a specially if you have a cat that is a bengal that has a lot of energy it's also a good way for your cat to get fresh air without being run over or getting lost
