Great Video in beautiful weather at my favourite WSR Station. I Like the book stall and being able to buy donated Railway magazines to give funds to the.station and Val had the Station .Masters mug with her coffee☕. Lovely to see you both enjoying Crowcombe Heathfield and the trains.

Thanks for this great video. Just discovered this line on Railcam a few weeks ago and am fascinated by this station and Williton. I'd love to spend a day sitting at both watching the trains pass. Seeing the station in such detail makes me want to visit event more. Thank you!

Look at that. What a beautiful day. It was cold and very windy here in Brisbane. I'm totally jealous. Nice to see more carriages being painted up. Thank you for a nice vlog Mike. Cheers

Loved the little Churchward 'Prairie' loco at 12:30.... great little engines 😊 Not many people on the platforms ...

The station is rather remote from the village of Crowcombe which itself is rather small. It used to get passengers from a holiday camping park not too far away, but that is currently closed for an upgrade.

@@ADMIRALSCORNER Oh I see... that would explain things ... I saw a video here on you tube with a trip all the way from Bishops Lydeard to Dunster ... it took almost an hour.... but I got to know all the stations along the route and I found it most interesting... I love that West Somerset railway it's great 👍

Thanks Chrisy. I was only allowed to borrow the Mug for a short time so the important job didn't last very long haha! (just as well really!)

Superb. Idyllic. Where does one start? I June in Melbourne was cold and wet, so I am jealous. I loved this video from start to finish, as it showed CH station in far greater detail than does the railcam. Beautifully preserved with terrific attention to detail. The more I see of WSR, the more it's apparent that the volunteers are so professional, but not officious. Terrific to see the first train on the down especially well patronised. Passengers joined at Crowcombe. I assume they drove there as not as if it has a village the size of Watchet. Great views of the signal box around 18:00 while at 17:00 you showed what we'd call in Australia a cabbage butterfly (but probably not the same species). The second train, an up, had fair patronage. Impressive start at c.13:00. harder to observe patronage on that second up (with loco 7828) but seemed to be light.

Thanks for your kind remarks. We call those butterflies cabbage whites too!

Your videos are a little different from Keith of SMILEVIDEOTRAINS but both are equally excellent, given the friendly, informative commentary. Occasionally you need to speak more clearly as even in your car, you can slightly mumble. Videographers like Marsh Steam Videos, Stephengthompson and the chap from East Lancashire who doesn't work serve a different market re main line steam videos. Keep up the terrific submissions as you have a worldwide audience: I bet not just from English-speaking nations.
