I did the same with the refrig on our boat. I even installed a heat switch to a small 12 DCV computer type fan, in the rear of the compartment it was in. Good vid.

Yes, adding a fan really helps keep these refrigerators a lot colder. Thanks for watching.

Do you think you could turn your attention to building and testing some FM radio antennas? I've messed around with some homebrew designs and found that my steel handtruck is a better FM antenna than some of the commercial omnidirectional antennas from Stellar and Channel Master.

I have one episode on a VHF/FM antenna here - kzbin.info/www/bejne/hYiyqIeHhrWoipI I'll see about doing more FM designs. Thanks

@@mrhoptoit7835 I watched and that was good. Possibly test a larger or smaller gap in the dipole ( yours was 2" i think) and maybe larger wire filament to see if it grabs more signal. I have a 4' steel hand truck that works better as an antenna than rabbit ears for many FM stations . It's made of 1 1/4" tubular steel. mappcaster.com/collections/steel-hand-trucks/products/dht26-1025-economy-steel-handtruck-with-semi-pnuematic-wheels

Interesting. I might build an antenna that looks like a hand truck now...lol
