Ridiculous! Going into bear 🧸 country after buying bear spray and then not learning how to use it. It's like going to a gunfight /duel without loading ur gun! Lol 🤣👏🙌

Makes you wonder if there was a new opening at their church that both of them were after and neither one of them would shoot the bear off of the other one...😂😂😂😂😂

First they show a black bear and then they show a grizzly. Which was it? I know that they’re both dangerous, but I believe the grizzly is more aggressive. Never mind, just learned that it was a black bear.

No offense but if you're avid hikers in the mountains of Montana and you know there's grizzlies out there and you don't know how to use bear spray that would be the first thing you should learn and each person carries it when you're walking off trail come on people thank God you lived hasn't anyone tried playing dead it's doesn't work all the time but in some cases it has

Thank God they didn't put that 1st bear down! I'm happy the guy and his daughter survived, but why didn't this "seasoned hiker" know how to use bear spray? This is a lesson in what not to do!

Once Ray was already dead I wonder why the Bear wasn't just content on eating him,an easier meal than going after people who are still alive and will fight back.very odd I thought.

The bear had entered a killing frenzy. It is the same with Sharks and Crocs and even small predators like foxes. This bear was trying to kill the chicken coop, nothing unusual about it.

They don’t eat meat like that. Humans aren’t the type of meat, that’s on their menu. This wasn’t a hunger attack, but a defensive attack. That’s why they didn’t hunt the bear down. Stay out of their habitat to ‘bond’, as if there isn’t ANY other place to enjoy a view.

If people weren't so stupid as to hike in bear country especially in spring when bears are hungry or a mother with cubs walk in their natural environment without taking the right precautions and being up to speed on the does and don'ts then you will be on borrowed time.

Not everyone knows how to use their bear spray canister . 🙄 I carry the bear spray and the kids carry wasp spray . We have it in a net bag , tied to their belt loops . More than once the wasp spray was needed . We stopped hiking at the Delaware Water Gap ,too many bears . Went 20 years without seeing a bear in the wild . Now I'd be shocked if we didn't see one , or signs of them in the area. The " Rona " gave the bear and coyote population a chance to grow . I ain't mad at them ! 😘

You should definitely practice using it and teach the kids to use it also. Being prepared is sometimes the key to staying alive.
