Three Trapped Tigers is an electronic instrumental trio who write cinematic tunes with high-speed riffs and poly-rhythmic percussion. They're difficult to categorize but fit somewhere between the worlds of math rock, jazz, electronica and metal. Saw them live! But long time ago in 2009. Twas the Static X New Forms festival in The Hague, the Netherlands. I saw these bands on that day: Battles (still with Tyondai), Three Trapped Tigers, Dorian Concept, Merzbow, Knalpot and Lucid. On the other days I managed to catch Peaches, Rolo Tomassi and a live set from Gary Numan. What a weekend I had!

really neat mention on their sound being similar to Car Bomb's on Creepies. I can totally see that connection in the usage of the guitar effects and style of playing and the melodies played. I'd totally love to see Car Bomb sometime on Audiotree Live! Thanks for recording this awesome performance, the Live sessions always deliver and they're astounding to watch every single time.
