Quick-ish questions. You, kind of, add universal spirit to the five spirits. Is universal spirit symbolised in ‘The diagram of the supreme polarity’ by the Yin-Yang? Maybe I misunderstand. Or perhaps universal spirit should it be made part of the five spirits to create six? As with Aristotle’s hidden Platonic solid? Perhaps even displayed as a hexagram as in Metatron’s cube. Understandably there is still progress to be made in this areas of philosophy and symbolise, nothing is perfect. It is said the Dao cannot be spoken though I am doing my best to get my head around it.

Definitely not a quickish question! For me ling is closely linked to dao. I included it as a contrast to shen. In some neigong systems the finally transformation is from shen to ling.
