What I did was number each hole in the hammock straps to make quick setting up of leveling

Yes! I'm actually planning on doing a video soon where I mention this. It saves a ton of time. Thanks brother!

I just saw the henny attachment on sale on mark bell's website but realized it was only the base set up and youtubed it and found you and just ordered these straps. I've used my trx once for basically the same thing but they aren't rated for that much weight. You just saved me some money

Happy to hear it. I love them. I have a couple sets. One set acts basically as a ring station. I set some paddle grip ROT8 knock offs clipped to the top for pullups, and wooden rings on the bottom for dips. Great set up for dip/chin supersets. Thanks for watching

@@ThreeStormFitness works great. First time getting the bar through those holes on the straps can be a challenge but seems easier after you break it in. Might have to rearrange a couple things in the home gym to have proper clearance since my weight rack cage wasn't placed with this in mind. Have a punching bag on one side that I had to wedge on old dip rack up against to get it out of the way and some bowflex dumb bells on cinderblocks on the other side that got in the way on the low to the ground leg movements but I'll make it work.

Just found this Henny system, I realized I had a set of Climbing Straps (5,000lb rated) from Amazon for $11. An easier way to set it up is use the larger end to go over the bar sleeves and onto the bar (Knurled area) and loop the other end of the strap onto a T-Pin. (insert the T-Pin first into the vertical post, you'll figure it out). This way with the T-Pin you can adjust the height. Just tried it tonight, still not sure about functionality for strength and cross over
@ThreeStormFitness4 жыл бұрын
Yeh, I've seen them set it up that way. Unfortunately, I can't get the loop over the beveled part of the sleeve though (just a bit too tight) with the hammock straps...I guess there's always a downside to trying to cheat the system :)

I've been doing this for the longest time from when I first saw the henny attachment,I had some hammock straps I bought to make a suspension trainer with each hole numbered, I immediately realised this is the same as the henny attachment

One big problem using these Hammock Straps. The cut outs in the straps that fit around your 50 diameter bar are not consistant between each strap so the bar will not be parallel to the floor it will slightly lean.
@ThreeStormFitness3 жыл бұрын
True. I've been pretty lucky with mine in that they're very close to even, but there's no required standard (after all, they're not made for this). The slight discrepancy is barely noticeable with almost everything, however, it's clear when I experimented using them as safety straps for the bench press. Thanks for the input man!

Thanks man! Yes, the press variations work great especially. I did a video a few months showing a whacky squat variation insured by the Henny straps here (about 14:30 in): kzbin.info/www/bejne/b2fTpqCpjJaIhac Thanks again!

Damn, I did the exact same thing with the exact same hammock straps (BEARBUTT). I am almost positive they are the same thing as the henny strap. They seem to have the same dimensions and weight tolerances.

how do twisters compare to bands and Weights for chest and biceps i mean do they work whole chest or just the inner ill be gettin the one like a system
@ThreeStormFitness4 жыл бұрын
Kind of a same but different thing, though the power twister bar bend is kind of a unique exercise. I'd say it's closest to a cable fly...generally works the pec minor at the start, and depending on the squeeze, the inner pecs at the end range of motion. I like it because it also puts isometric load on the lats (that's how I do them anyway). As for bands, they differ a bit because they get harder the further out you go. For many people, the lockout is the easiest part of the movement...not so much with bands. Thanks for the comment!
