one of the few bands who sound as good as their recordings, live.

Anyone agree this song happens to be one of the more epic songs ever to have been wrought into existence? I'VE HAD THIS STUCK IN MY HEAD FOR TEN YEARS!!!!

I really dig the tone on that Telecaster at the beginning. It has some satisfying grittiness to it :)

My name is Oliver Queen. After years of being the vigilante known as Green Arrow, I discovered that the only way to protect my city was to become someone else... some *thing* else... I am DUSTIN KESRUE.

Ed totally killed it at 1:40. Tepps stopped singing but Eddie kept on screaming. Love his enthusiasm.

i've known of thrice for a long time but never really gave them a chance probably b/c i was busy just listening to other stuff like converge, Protest the Hero, Dillinger Escape Plan, Between the Buried & Me, and Mastodon, but man am I sorry. these guys are fairly decent they sound great live, and have a decent range of sounds and influences which is what I'm totally in to so yeah very cool Thrice.

@KaiX6 Teppei isn't really underrated. the band is too unknown, but actually i saw him in a list (i think in guitar world) of best guitarists of today's music around 20th place
@Byzantic13 жыл бұрын
@KaiX6 You're right. When I saw him on pukkelpop in Belgium this summer, suddenly they made a variation on In Exile i think, and he started blasting out an AAMAAAAAZING solo :P And I, too, was like, OMFG WHY ISN'T HE MORE FAMOUS?

An i the only one who feels like the drummer is slightly rushing the tempo? The fills during the 2nd chorus sounded way off.
@NicholasReguin7 жыл бұрын
pimpsonparade I believe he was spot on, it sounds right to me.
@joshlynch56767 жыл бұрын
Tempo sounds spot on to me. The fills sounded pretty good in the 2nd chorus. I'm not sure what you guys hear, but it sounds pretty close to me.
@XxXCaptainJakkXxX6 жыл бұрын
He was spot on. Playing fast fills doesn't mean that he is rushing the tempo
@jamieriley97186 жыл бұрын
yea you have to remember the artists follow the drummer on this and if dustin felt it was too fast he would have turned and gave him a signal. live is always different. thats the beauty of live
@idocoolthings61026 жыл бұрын
Pimpsonparade i get you. I think he rushed into the start of the song but evened it out by the first chorus.
