I came across this band and really listened to almost every album. They have forever changed my life. I'm at a point in life where I'm starting to question my self worth, longing for a purpose, and self discovery so to say. I'm so thankful for Thrice as a band and for them individually as people. Without them who knows where my head would be.

The guitar riff that kicks in at 2:57 is very death metal influenced...something I’d never expect from Thrice though it isn’t unethical considering the potential heaviness of the band.

Yes, indeed they did. IMO, Identity Crisis and The Illusion Of Safety were post hardcore with some hints of thrash, I just meant on this tune that those 2 notes they hit had death metal vibes to them. The band has the potential to be extremely heavy though they are always not. I like their experimental side though with the exception of their absolute latest stuff like Black Honey, that song...smh. It would be sweet for a throwback to the roots record.

The dynamics on the chorus are phenomenal! I love TAITA quite a bit, but compared to Vheissu, it is rather one dimensional. This might be the best song on the album, super kickass.
