Thrice is one of those bands that has a distinct sound even if the genre changes. The songs may be totally different album to album, but there’s a sound underneath it all that is very distinct. It’s more of an abstract. But if you listen closely, you can hear a song of theirs from 2001 and 2021 and hear similar things even if the gear, tones, and songs change. It’s in the band’s DNA.

totally right. this guys and Biffy Clyro are, on my opinion, the most interesting/creative/clever/smooth/popish/bluesish/jazzish/radiofriendly/agressive bands out there for the last 15-20 yeras ?! if you know nothing about Biffy Clyro, give it a listen. they're incredible. they're just more radiofriendly than Thrice but they push their boundaries a little more
