The Dark You try and keep me out of sight You try and keep me out of sight and out of mind Out of mind You try and keep me from the light You try and keep me from the light, but I know it's mine I know it's mine You're rigging the game You're part of the system It shows in the way That you never listen when I speak I'm not gonna wait I've made my decision And I'm not gonna sit in the dark anymore No I'm not gonna sit in the dark anymore You're always telling me I'm not You're always telling me I'm not, not enough And I'm enough You're always turning back the clock You're always turning back the clock, but time is up Time is up You're rigging the game You're part of the system It shows in the way That you never listen when I speak I'm not gonna wait I've made my decision And I'm not gonna sit in the dark anymore No I'm not gonna sit in the dark anymore We've taken our knocks We're not gonna take them anymore We're not gonna stop Cause we've seen a world worth fighting for So ready or not Together we're kicking down the door And we're not gonna sit in the dark anymore No we're not gonna sit in the dark anymore

What guitar is Dustin playing here?
@DravenSlaven4 жыл бұрын
Both Dustin and Teppei appear to be playing Guild guitars. Although I can't seem to find a Guild that has the Crown sitting on what looks more like a T. Where Teppei's guitar; which looks like alot of Guilds, which I assume is a Crown on a banner. But Dustins does have the crown, and it's hard to see past their capos and tuners, but both look to say Guild at the top to me.

For acoustic performances, a silent intro would probably be more appropriate. :)

I feel like this album does not translate to acoustic as well as TBEITBN did.
@its_Obsidian6 жыл бұрын
blue_pearl_22 I think it just takes a few listens. It’s how I was at first with this album period. I didn’t like it at all but after listening to it a few times over I think it’s one of their better albums.
@bluepearl_226 жыл бұрын
@@its_Obsidian I agree with you on the giving it more listens part. I wasn't a big fan of it either in the beginning but what I soon realized was that this album is more quotable in terms of its lyrics and themes compared to the last one. However, TBEITBN still has more songs that translate better to acoustic than Palms imo. But keep in mind: That's not necessarily a bad thing and it even kinda makes sense cause Palms is more experimental and progressive than TBEITBN which was more anthemic.
