Yep, I said the same thing... I explained to a co-worker on why he needs to check these guys out & the best description I could come up with for their new album was that "It's like this album is a compilation of ALL their albums throughout the years".... And just as good too!

For me their new album feels like after all of their years maturing their sound as musicians searching for a sound of their own with every new album these songs have elements from each of their older music styles and putting them together finally have found a sound of their own and as a fan I'm proud of this band.

Yes, yes it is! ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITE BANDS!!! I am especially impressed with how much they have changed and/or evolved on all their albums throughout the years, yet while still making GREAT MUSIC & staying relevant! No one better in my opinion! PS- Have you checked out Dustin's (Kensrue) newest album 'Carry the Fire' yet? If not, do yourself a favor & go check it out. Start with "There's Something Dark Inside of Me" & "Gallows" (my personal favorites, but honestly, the whole album is good). "Ruby" kind of has a John Newman feel to me, while "Of Crows and Crowns" & "What Beautiful Things" gives me kind of a Mumford & Sons/Dave Mathews feel... long story short, the whole album is solid. Check out "Back to Back" & "Carry the Fire" too!... haha, WINK FACE

Just found them. Odd how it happened. Obsession with Bring Me The Horizon and while watching KZbin an old MTV cribs episode came on, Oli the lead singer of BMTH was giving a tour of a friends home they were staying in, the house had a pool on a cliff hanging over some gorgeous ocean. Incredible view, and it looked too perfect to be real. A song was playing in the background, and I didn't think that I would normally even hear, let alone notice stuff like that in the back ound. Especially being amazed at the "crib" not to mention I was "fan girling" over the beauty of Oli Sykes. But I noticed it, knew it wasn't a BMTH song and looked in the description and credits to find an unfamiliar band name - Thrice, song was "Digital Sea" off of alhum "Alchemy: Volumes I & 2" went and checked it out on KZbin, and then downloaded it. Then I heard the unbelievably beautiful and unique, "Beyond the Pines", "Come all you weary", "Black Honey" and so many other wonderful and meaningful songs. About God and spirituality in the only way I have ever believed it to be, the feelings of hope, that I'd been missing, all came flooding back to me😭🙏😳 Weird, Oli Sykes from BMTH, had that playing on loop during his cribs special, yet doesn't believe any God is out there. Like, he admits it, talks about it in songs and not in a good way, bordering on being disrespectful to any religious mindset. That he doesn't believe in God and is an outspoken Atheist. So, doesn't this kinda show God's real? I felt His Spirit touching mine. I've never stopped believing, I don't need visuals, to convince me when ironic coincidences like that occur. Even without them, I believed. My faith has never wavered, but my spirit needed waking up, and the fact that it was brought on by an avid, outspoken atheist is just... Mental! I mean, mysterious ways indeed! ❤️
