I'm a young widowed Baptist Pastors wife from Georgia. It was also sudden went misdiagnosed for over 9 weeks of inner ear infection and pneumonia. We went to our local hospital and we were there 4 days and was told if it was what they thought he needed to be sent to UAB while he was stable. Well they told us what the dr in Georgia had thought. Our nightmare was confirmed it was indeed wegeners autoimmune disease and after 3 infections, 71 units of blood 4 surgeries he went unconscious and they couldn't tell us why. So after 32 days I the hospital God called him home. I'm praying for you and so sorry for your loss.. love and prayers
