VERY WELL DONE. The brace you constructed to cut the bowls was brilliant. So....what did you do with the bowl bottoms ? Same idea as the table could be used by gluing them to small candle holders to create table top pedestals. Keep up the great work.

😉The Interlocking Rings made an interesting mod earthy rustic decorative item that perfectly suits her aesthetic. 🎉Great dupe project! 😁Brilliant idea. 😆Hate waste🗑. Those bowls were too cool to toss the bottoms out. A pedestal dish is always great for displaying decor, a plant, or food on a buffet. She could also use a trio of wooden or brass knobs as bun feet for a lower pedestal. 🤔 Don't always like the look of candleholders as the pedestal base. Seen a lot of DIYs where the proportions are seriously off. 🚫 Wobbly pedestals! 🏆Although Fia's petite Pedestal Side Table turned out absolutely fabulous🎉. 📸 Full on Catalog Worthy!👀Clearly, she has a good eye for balance of these things and also knew how to properly secure it for safety sake.🥇E6000 was a smart choice for that application. Hot glue works for more "temporary" tiny pedestals or projects only. 🍵Great for an upside down porcelain tea cup base (mod version w/o a handle) and matching saucer.🏵Martha Stewart made charming white trinket dishes out of these items on her show once. 🏮Inherited a huge amount of Chinoserie from my family inclu. about a dozen or so full tea sets. A couple of delicate white tea sets were in that more traditional Asian design. Using hot glue allowed me make pedestals I can eventually dismantle in future w/o harming the fine china😊. 🙏Hope Fia upcycles the glass hurricane portion♻️ of that XXL candleholder she used as a table base. With a little creativity, it would make a beautiful Cloche Cover to feature some decorative item or even a small succulent. 😃Maybe she could fashion the leather to cleverly enclose that top portion, wrapped in a rustic leather or braided rope tie to create an interesting closure. Perhaps one of the wooden bowl bottoms could serve as a base for it too. 🐮 Her refashioned Faux Leather Tray turned out quite handsomely too🎉. That treatment was a subtle, elegant, manly choice. Bonus: No animals were harmed in the making of it. (Although ultimately feel using thrifted leather off an old garment seems a way of honoring the animal's sacrifice and life too.) ☮💛🌼
