THRIFT FLIP | i made a PUFF DRESS & 2 adorable collars!! diy clothing transformations | WELL-LOVED

i headed back to my sewing machine to finally make a PUFF DRESS and oversized collars, and i could cry they're so cute! we took some not so cute thrifted pieces and changed them into sustainable cuties that i've been dying to add to my secondhand wardrobe. I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE HOW AMAZING THESE TURNED OUT! enjoy!

I did the sailor collar for my daughter for her Cleopatra Halloween costume. I used a gold placemat and blue glass stones to make the jewels around it.

The collars look fabulous ON YOU 🙂 but I love watching you sew, your ideas and I'm very much more open to seeing the potential in clothes and altering things I've bought on eBay. I've become an eBay addict during covid, missing the charity shops but some items have been a lot cheaper on eBay, even with postage costs. My wardrobe is heaving ....🤣

The dress is super duper cute. The first collar is a hit out of the park. The second collar? Oh, please. I cannot imagine you wearing it anywhere in public. No amount of enthusiasm can save that from being a train wreck. The idea was good; the fabric was your downfall. Two A+ and one D.

not in love with ideas in this video (sorry), the collars are too fake and separate looking. Have you ever heard of dickies? they are mock collars that resemble turtleneck collars. If you redesign the dickie collar to be a (lighter weight fabric) frilly false collar that tucks under the scoop neck of a sweater, then that would be very very cute and wearable. Also, the two pieces you cut up for the last project were better originally. You are very talented, but not every idea is a winner. Will keep watching tho. Other ideas in most of your videos have been very inspiring, just not in this video.😮
