I LOVE how the table turned out. I don’t know about the chairs. I don’t think that I like the color. When you first showed the stain results it looked a teeny bit patchy but the clear coat helped with that. I love how the table matches the shelves! I’m just not sure about the chairs. It could be the leather for me. So personal preference

It's easy to say you could find a cheap, similar color table and chairs for close to the cost of the thrifted finds + supplies (for those who don't have supplies already) but since you thrifted REAL wood items, they are way better quality and way more durable than all the plywood-type particle board furniture with faux wood veneer. When looking at generous sized 4-seater solid wood tables online last year, they were minimum of $700 on sale 😱 but now you have heirloom quality furniture for such a great price!

SO MUCH YES in one comment girl! I agree to find fast produced furniture is relatively cheap but I agree it’s worth the extra work if it’s REAL wood definitely! I mean the real wood grains are nothing compared to veneer right?! 😅 and now I also have these supplies for future projects yay!

I never understood when pasta and rice are poured into cute small glass containers and it's fab to finally find someone else that agrees!! 😮

I mean it for sure looks so nice but we go through pasta so fast that it makes no sense to do that 😂 I do put it in containers for rice though! Because our rice bags are so huge and it’s easier to dispense in smaller containers 😂

Ooh Haley, that was FLIPPING STUNNING. Table and chairs are gorgeous. When I got married we had my mother in laws table and chairs, which was over 100 years old dark oak. We stripped down to light oak and have loved them ever since. I love DIY projects.
