Hey Mary Elizabeth! Since you did a video on selling and scoring on craigslist, what about a video on upholstering your thrift store scores? I purchased a 5 dollar couch many years ago at a thift store that I fell in love with. While the lines are a slick mcm, I knew that it needes some tlc with some new stuffing, new fabric and some slightly taller legs. Now that I have some money tucked away for this rainy day, but now I have so much anxiety about the make over!!! How do I select a good upholster? (Slight throwback to cushion gate lol) How are you sure that you are going to get the best result for your buck? How to best choose a fabric (seems very measure twice cut once)? Any other suggestions you could throw out?

leez mar Such a bummer! It’s not happening. I’m gonna address this in an upcoming video. She received the pink sofa I picked out and she also had the closet installed that I helped design and took her down for. I didn’t know she even received her sofa! I thought we were doing the video together since we started etc and I’d hear from her as the sofa arrived but that’s not what happened. In the end, it seems best that she enjoys her stuff she has and I hope she does, and we don’t work together. For me, it’s all about my time for the video to share with you guys. Without that, there’s not much for me to share. You should go over to her channel and check out her closet and sofa. She did videos for them there! They’re beautiful too. 💖💖💖

I think Ann Le says it all in her “relationships” video... Sounds to me like she just needs time alone and she just needs to find herself... she probably really appreciates all the help you gave her but since this is developing her new life and her new cocoon she probably just wants to tread this path alone… I don’t think it was a personal thing I think she just needs time to figure out what she is doing with her life.... I used to be a professional interior designer and went through this with several clients...They start the project with one set of goals but then realize that they have another set when they get into it and sometimes They just Need to do it alone....It’s part of the healing process. I actually went through this personally in 2000....Closed my firm, left my relationship, my son stayed behind, move to another state, and started a totally different life… The pink sofa is Beautiful and I think you gave her a really good starting place on which to grow....

Nella Black I wanted to! She received the sofa I picked out & measured for her, and ordered with her before I knew it had arrived. I thought we were doing a room makeover video with a reveal etc but as it goes, we’re not. She made a video, and I was never told the sofa had a delivery date or arrived before she posted a video. I invested hours and had lots of fun plans! I’m really bummed it didn’t work but I’m glad she has a home, a sofa, and a closet that she loves! At the end of the day, that’s the most important thing. I’m gonna address this in an upcoming video for entrepreneurs on working with clients.
