I have had those mungo chalk pastels for many years- they are artists grade and beautiful to use. When I bought them new they were $40.00. Great haul!

Great finds, Tina! I must say that the prices at your Value Village are a lot better than here in N.S. For a 2.99 bag, we might get 2 or 3 items, nothing like what I'm seeing you haul. In fact, I see a lot of Dollarama items at VV and they are charging $2 for them. I chuckle to myself and wonder who is pricing the items around here. They just opened a new VV store in the nearby town and I was so excited but then I saw the prices and it's just not worth it. We have other thrift stores though, where the prices are much more reasonable - I love thrifting! Looking forward to seeing your books! Have a wonderful day!

Great haul! My local VV does not seem to carry any good stuff. I don't go that often as it's across town. I did end up going awhile ago and walked out with nothing. I don't seem to have luck with VV ever. Thanks for sharing!

WOW !!!!. ****SCORE**** .. You hit the jackpot this time... good for you. I find it so hit and miss, but when I do find something, it makes me happy. I had to laugh when you opened that little envelope with the pictures. Made me think of the time I went into a thrift store, and bought several items... a few of which were books. When I got home I was thumbing through the books and smack dab in between 2 pages was a polaroid pic of a man...... not any man....... a nude man !!!. Am thinking that some "lady" had put a pic of her sweetie in her book as a bookmark. It was a gardening book, so, maybe it was her idea of a "weed"... I dunno. My g'f wanted me to share it on facebook to find the owner.... hahahaha. Thanks for sharing my friend, and have fun with all your goodies. 💖
