Former Yellowstone employee here... We found an older female hiker who was lost in the woods for about 10 days once, because she had the presence of mind to turn her jacket inside out to help us spot her!! The gray/yellow jacket is very attractive to hikers, campers, etc. If you were lost in the wilderness, hoping to be found, you would not care about those tags being on the back, trust me. Also good for boating, and for wearing when you are having to change a tire on the roadside at night. Sometimes a bright yellow jacket could save your life!

That red crackle glass pitcher with the yellowish handle is amberina glass and might glow a dull orange from cadmium and is getting a little popular with collectors

It is quite nice. I sold my mothers - 8 pieces in total when she passed 5 years ago. Some guy gave me 200 bucks for all of it. I was gonna sell it for a buck a piece. I did not know it glowed. Wow ... wish I had keep a couple now

Yes, that pitcher @ 5:52 looks like Blenko and also when you see yellow/orange with red like this it usually glows because there’s cadmium in it. So that bottle likely was a double hitter, worth in sold comps around 40-50 dollars. ❤ I admire you picking a niche you’re not comfortable with to improve your sales. 🎉

I havent seen that much good glass in a thrift store in a looong time! I encourage younto use the google lens feature on the glass, because you passed up some that would've made good money. That Blenko vase killed me 😂 I was yelling through the phone at you 😆

You should bring a black light with you and quickly scan all the glass with it. There are many different colours of glass that glow, even some clear and milk glass will glow.

I've thought about doing it. I honestly don't run into a ton of it. People are really quick on buying up the glass around here. I don't know if it would be worth carrying all the time for how often I'd use it. I did bring it to an estate sale before on video where they said they had some.

That's nice that your thrift has vinyl at 99 cents, one of my local thrifts was $1.99 each for vinyl, went in a week ago and actually found a few decent ones (which is unusual), went up to pay and they had gone up to $4.98! No sign up or anything. Put them all back, there was nothing crazy in there of course. I was shocked.

You can lock the sold items filter by going to customize at the bottom of the menu and enable lockable filters so that you don’t have to keep toggling it over and over again

7:24 Clorox Bleach for Unbleachables will clean anything. Hunting jackets are reversible for safety in the woods. The yellow or orange tells other hunters that you are not an animal. My father had several jackets like that.

I got a Nordic track from a garage sale for free with all the paperwork that worked great. I listed it on eBay local pickup. After 2 years lowering the price 6 times I stripped it and parted it out. Those things are a bit of a curse potentially good money but heavy as small pony.
