What's irritating about goodwill is their nerve with some of their pricing and the fact that all items were donated...the only winners are the CEO and shareholders....smh

Last time i was at a goodwill they had all thier yarn in giant sealed bags for 15 to 20 dollars. Not worth it to my notion. Mabe there were a couple matching skiens but mostly half used. 😑

The Good Will stores around me are getting more expensive. It’s sad because it’s all donated items but they want to sell it for a bigger profit for the big shots that own them. 😕

I've used the SWS from Patons. It works up well, but will felt and will shrink if not cared for like 100% wool.

I have used the SWS yarn and it works up nice but it will shrink. I got it years ago at Dollar Tree. I have found some great deals on yarn at Goodwill.

Local library knitting group. Art program at a local middle / high school. Special needs programs have art therapy programs.

I donate yarn to a local missions thrift shop, they use the proceeds for their charitable work

Hi Kim thanks for taking us shopping. Soy in yarn that's new? That Kmart yarn is ancient it was even more scratchy than Red Heart. I liked that denim tweed.

The Patons SWS is actually a very nice yarn. I used to work for two big box stores as a knitting teacher, and I made a couple of models from it. I also made a felted knitting tote for myself, and it was a very nice tote.
