Having 3 glasses is ok. Just hide one as a backup in case of breaks. I also love smoked glass so pretty

Yay for a thrift trip!! I've told you before but that is my favorite type of video you do. I loved the pitcher and the glass candle holders!

The blue glasses are called “Sweet Swirl”. Can’t remember company, but I am sure you can find them on eBay or Amazon. I had a full set of 16 I got when I got married years ago.

That pink sweater looks so good on you! The buttons/color combo is just perfect, and the stain is definitely not noticeable at all, so happy that you got it!

I'm in KY and have been wanting to do a thrifting weekend in Nashville for awhile now. Often the glasses will have a mark on the bottom which will tell you the brand. That's great if you need the fourth one and want to look on eBay for it. Anchor Hocking may have an anchor, an anchor with an H, or an H with an A inside the H. Libby is also a common brand and will have a cursive L. A lot of people donate their glasses after they break one or two of the set, that is why it's often only 2 or 3 of them.

You really lean toward mid century modern in the glassware department, the lamp is awesome, you could paint it like you said and add more texture if you want you can add it to the paint! Love the rose sweater!

You found some beautiful glass pieces and you always find the prettiest tops, love the pink sweater, try baking soda and peroxide on the stain. Also wash the sweater in a bit of a vinegar to soften, it’s worked for me .
@byCHLOEWEN2 жыл бұрын
Ohhhh thank you!! Does the peroxide not bleach the fabric?? If not I’ll def try that 🤩

The Habitat for Humanity retail store is very close to Music City Thrift and they always have a lot of nice artwork. The prices are a little higher than a traditional thrift but it's a good cause to support. I found an almost new ottoman at Habitat and use it in our living room.

Everytime I find an incomplete glass set with an odd number I always get it in case one breaks, then you have a backup

The piece is called a harp and the very top piece that holds the shade on is called finial.
@susanma48992 жыл бұрын
Yep, came here to say that. You can always buy a harp at Home Depot or Lowe's, and there are different sizes you can get. Looks like you just got one from another lamp, I'd do the same thing. Why not!
@leahcpratt2 жыл бұрын
Yep...and if you ever need to add one to a lamp that doesn't have one, they can be bought for pretty cheap at Home Depot or Lowe's.

I’ve noticed that with the rise of things like thredUP and Poshmark etc that it is harder to find quality clothing at traditional thrift stores
@susanma48992 жыл бұрын
I wonder if because more people have lost/quit their jobs or gone into business for themselves there are more resellers out there.
@byCHLOEWEN2 жыл бұрын
That would totally make sense! I never thought about people doing it for work now!
