I haven’t totally decided yet, I may do a video over on my blog channel showing what all goes into the prep ( and a preview!) of the collection but I’m not sure about doing a “how to” video just because I think it’s quite boring to watch since it’s basically just gonna be me melting and pouring wax 😅 but since you are interested I may share the process and the materials I use over in that collection prep vlog if you want?! ☺️

Thanks for sharing! We go to HHI every summer for our annual beach trip and I have not been thrifting there yet! Definitely putting these spots on my list. I love the cloche you got (the net dome thing to keep bugs off- I feel like I saw one on Pottery Barn or Williams-Sonoma and it was super expensive!) and I do love the hourglass you snagged!

Oh my goodness yes you HAVE to go thrifting in HHI! Some stuff is ridiculously expensive depending on where you go but a lot of other spots are awesome! I think I have one more HHI thrifting video that has some of my other favorite spots in it too!

What a fun day! I love to go thrifting and only have a few people I know who like it too. Lots of great finds! The buffet was awesome. It stinks when its too large or too far away to get.

Yes! It’s definitely so fun when you have a thrifting family or group of friends who can appreciate it with you! And oh my gosh I was borderline devastated I couldn’t get it home 😢😢😢 it’s the worst!!!

How do you know the glass will be heat resistant for a candle?

I obviously can’t know specifics but in general I don’t think a small candle like these will burn hot enough to be too hot for the glass. And when I did my past collection I didn’t have any issues so hopefully this collection works well also 🤞🏼☺️

Yeah I always try to make sure the glass isn’t tooo thin and then I also make sure that I stick to glass or brass so I don’t have to worry about flammability with the vessels. But most of these are 1 single wick candles and they really don’t get hot enough, it’s really the larger ones with 2 or 3 wicks that can start to produce a bunch of heat 😅
