The flower crewel with the fluffy blooms would have been hard for me to leave behind. I loooooove that wood side table you got, really beautiful. Gosh, those oval floral needlepoints are absolutely amazing, your buyer is really lucky to get those! I’m so into needlepoint and crewels

One of those bookends was Robert Burns the famous Scottish Poet and the woman is Highland Mary (or Mary Campbell) whom he had an love affair with and who died of Typhus at the age of 23. He wrote the poem Highland Mary for her. Loved that table at the beginning..

I figured out the "Burns" one right away, but I didn't know the woman. Was going to try to research her a bit. Thanks for this interesting info.

The cross stitch windmill was an awesome find! I'm thinking it might pair well with small framed silhouettes.

Love everything about this video! I’m in the Midwest…years behind west coast…boho just catching on in Chicago suburbs and flippers still painting entire home interiors dark gray, but there’s not a lot of boho to source here. Idk why I never see Polish boxes since largest concentration of Polish people outside of Poland live here, but I’m going to look harder!

OMG gray walls! That feels so years ago now with the way decor is moving here. It’s always so wild to me how much things differ across states.

Great video! I found your channel via Laura Caldwell and your friends’ thrifting trip. While watching, I find that I am often staring at the beautiful still life behind your head. What is its history? Let me know if you would ever consider selling. Maybe a video just showing off that gallery wall and the stories behind their acquisition? Love all the color! I worry for the generation of children that are being raise in gray and white homes….

Great video!!! Super loved all your finds!!! I hope after the early middle of July I will open up my etsy shop. U will be the first to know, even before family and friends. If people are not aware of the potential of thrifting selling, they can steal your joy and be a severe fun sponge!!! U have trained me well Andi and I have been buying for over 2 years and cleaning, grouping, and styling what I feel will sell well. I did pre sending postal tryouts to family throughout the USA. Still need to get a scale and will be writing out my address first. It takes a bit to start a business...on a tight budget anyway. But it is all good, I know this will go well. U will be pleased at my pieces!!! Thank Andi from my thrifting little heart!!!💞💞🙃💞💞

I have a booth and i’m very jealous of your price points. I have that very stool and it won’t sell for more than $60. In fact most of my merchandise is priced between 18-40 because people just won’t pay. I sell very similar items to yours. Boxes, brass, artwork and unusual housewares. Pottery sells but not for its worth. I’m not a grand millennial person but i do pick up some pieces. I’m located in Dallas so there is a market(and the money) for this stuff but i don’t really know what the issue is. I do sell sell my higher priced items on FBMP fairly well. But I know people are paying a ton more on Etsy and IG. I’ve decided it’s probably my mall and hope to move soon.

How do you know if it’s a paint by number?
@AllPutTogether6 ай бұрын
You can tell because it’s usually painted on a cardboard surface and the paint style is more blocks of color vs blended.
