I stumbled upon your videos quite by accident. I'm learning so much! But how in heaven's name do you know so much?! You say you've been doing this for 40 years, did you start in preschool?! I am currently going through and trying to organize a plethora of jewelry and jewelry components towards deconstructing much of it to reconstruct into "artsy" items such as jewel Christmas trees, etc. But now, after watching you, I'm afraid I'm going to destroy something that might be worth good money! Where does one get a Presidium Gem Tester? I have an idea where to get a loupe, but I need to know how to test metals. I have learned some names to look for, though the marks are often very difficult to read, but I don't know makers well enough to know their work if it's unsigned. HELP!!! Do you give workshops? I am enjoying the learning process, but I want to know it all NOW.😁

A lot of it is mixed with Zinc and other metals , my husband refines it to pure Silver and get a lot of this India 925 which is only 50% silver , hes said its terrible stuff to fix if the ring is broken too
