Good afternoon, Miss Janet! Great! I'm actually working on an Autumn DIY & decorate video today. Sharp eye! Yes, we've had a room shuffle and (hopefully) a major renovation/remodel coming next year that will encompass a garage conversion. This means we have sold several large pieces of furniture/some art/lamps etc to lighten the load and have chosen a few replacements. As time goes by you'll see the results... Always glad to have you!

Hi Rachel, Thank-you for all of your beautiful videos! My (thrifted), low budget suburban bungalow English Country Cottage is coming along. I recently made a bold move and added more patterns to my living room, so there are five now (plaid, abstract, floral chair in tan, 2 throw blankets with plaid and floral). I'm going to add a hot pink portiere to my dining room doorway (or maybe green) for some drama. My question to you and your viewers is; What can I add for a bit of whimsy that doesn't take up too much space. Any great ideas out there? Thanks!

@@StoneCottageHomeI'm not sure. I have a few ceramic animal figures (owl, fox and squirrel) and maybe those are enough. I could add some bird prints. Most of my pictures are of scenery/water. I saw a print of goats in trees (in Morocco) and maybe I'll look into that. I've decided to stick to all the same color paint (Behr Swiss Coffee) and add a ton of picture (ideas from your videos), instead of wallpapering. I'm trying to inject a bit of the feminine touch, gradually(color scheme is green, blue, pink), as my house has a lot of wood/browns. It's a quiet injection of femininity into a traditional male household, haha. I just discovered that I like small scale floral prints and I thrifted a floral pillowcase and some floral placemats for under lamps/ plants. Thank-you again for inviting viewers into your home! I find your channel so inspiring and find that the English Cottage Country home look is possible, even in suburbia, thanks to you! Sincerely, Lauren
