Love bringing my hydrangeas inside, painted a few pumpkins to look like heirlooms last year so I can use forever, creating simple vignettes with inspiration from you! Vowed to stay out of Hobby Lobby as I certainly have enough and am getting rid of many items as we prepare to downsize. I’m 62 and recently learned you’re the same age as my son. Everything is so pretty. Simple and uncluttered. I replicated what you did with the pots by your front door. My planters are wooden, made by my husband so not exactly like yours. I layered 2 grapevine wreaths, faux leaves and 1 large faux pumpkin on each. I didn’t even realize it but I ended up getting the exact same leaves you used. Mine were from Hobby Lobby as were the pumpkins. It looks so fall like, even here in FL! Amy, thank you for the inspiration!

I enjoyed the wreath you made for your kitchen mantel. I think you've inspired me to want to make something like that. Also, I remember you said you thought your dresser in the entrance hall might too small. On video it looks fine to me. Very cute! But if you ever think that your dresser or buffet isn't long enough, try putting an extra dining room or kitchen chair next to it. You might find that it fills in the space nicely, plus you don't have to crowd the kitchen or diningroom with that extra chair that's nice to have for company. Thank you for the tour of your home.

Your home is beautiful. I love the simplicity of it. Every time I watch your videos I want to go through my own farm house(circa pre-civil war. Just a bit older than yours 😊) and remove what now just looks like clutter lol. I love the open but divided floor plan and that the laundry is on first floor. Not a fan of second floor laundry. I collect cutting boards as well. I get them on ebay from a man in France. They're worn and well used. I like to think of the families that used them through the years. You look amazing, by the way. An affordable option for a stove, if you like an industrial style with classic look, is kucht. We got ours at Home Depot 2 yrs go and have been so happy with it. It is gas. They do make electrics too I believe. If you need that, but it’s solid built and even oven temp and I’ve never once had a problem with it. They sent it direct to us from the warehouse and it took about 5 weeks. Not a major brand, but I took a chance and am very pleased.
