Love your thrift videos thanks for sharing all your finds and I agree on the whole pricing going up at all our thrift stores and it's a joke since they do it without thinking that it takes us time to look through and find flips to resell such keeps them in business too.

You're so right about the prices going up at the thrift stores. I think Savers is one of the worst culprits. When I pick up a used Dollar Tree item and it's marked $2 and up I get so mad. You got some great finds!

I went to a thrift store and they had a dollar tree wire basket for 6 bucks. I mentioned it to the cashier. She ran to the owner and told her I complained. The owner came out and was so mad at me. lol I just had to laugh and walk away. A few days later I went back to shop. The basket was 50 cents lol

If those pitchers are really depression glass then girl, you do NOT want to be selling those‼️ The rarest and most valuable depression glass is the pink. To tell if it is real depression glass, flip the pieces upside down and look at their bases. Depression glass has long, thin lines running in the same direction on their bases. The lines are from the way they were dried. They were laid on straw for the process causing the linear lines on the bottom. Also, another way to see if it is real depression glass is to put it under a black light and see if it glows. Depression glass has uranium oxide in it and that's what causes it to glow. With how rare pink depression glass is and with it's extremely high value.... if that's what those are, I'd be taking it to the bank 😜❣️

I could hardly wait for you to post this video. You have some unique pieces in both Fridays video and today. The Pioneer woman bowls were a steal. She is Rhea Drummond, She does cooking videos, has her own magazine, just an array of stuff. She has a store in Oklahoma called the Mercantile. Husband is a rancher. The office lamp was so cool. The vintage pottary with the green and speckles was from the 70's. (Shown after the blue glasses) I use to take a ceramic class with my SIL. Her mom had a studio and taught every Saturday. Had I known then.....I would have kept some of those items. I made several. The large plate reminds me of Germany. Ohhhhh so many great finds. You must have needed a train to carry out all of your finds.

Oh my, the glass pitchers are gorgeous! You scored Sonnet! And my thought re: thrifting for resale - people who are in need aren’t looking for specialty items, like Depression glass, they’re looking for the basics to furnish/stock a home, so everyone can use thrift stores for what they need!

Loved this haul. The first pink pitcher you showed I believe to be vintage, not depression. It looked to be the Arcoroc Rosaline Pink Swirl Pitcher made in France. My favorite item was the flower basket! Looking forward to see your transformation and displays!

Wow wow wow, amazing haul. In the UK our thrift shops are called charity shops and the very same is happening here they are putting prices up willy nilly. Before Christmas I saw a coat in one for £80 (over 100 dollars) and it wasn't even vintage. Every time I watch a video, you are convincing me more and more to look into a booth or something similar... I'll keep you posted on what happens xx

You're so right! You've got to be picky about which Good Wills you shop in - some are ridiculously priced - I hit up the one in my town once a year and am ALWAYS amazed at the outrageous pricing! Thankfully there's a couple others in the area that understand they're selling second hand merchandise! Love your finds! Blessings!

Those candle holders that you liked- the ones that looked like antique mirrors- you can get that mirror spray and replicate that look if you want with clear votives and make a bunch for your wood holders that you are going to make.

Omg, what a great haul!!! I LOVE the gathering basket, just so beautiful. I only have 1 thrift store where I live, they used to have so many great things, but now it just looks like the leftovers of a bad rummage sale. And the prices are so high, I routinely see dollar tree items priced at $2.00! Really??? The fishing creel isn't vintage but you got it at a great price. We have a place in N WI and I trout fish all the time, I paid 40.00 for a very simular one 2 yrs ago.

Oh my gosh - after watching you and another lady in CA go to the bins - I decided to see if there were any local to me! Yes it is addictive! Had a blast! The luggage is only $5 each - found a vintage leather Samsonite! They're going for $100 and up on eBay! I think I want to do something with it - but sure what yet - cartfull for $28! Do glad you went and educated me! Blessings!

Enjoying your channel. Second time I’ve watched. Your casual positive attitude is a treat. Love the big chunk of wood with the holes. If you find your glass pieces do not fit, one of the popular yogurt makers puts out yogurt in little glass jars. It’s pricey but delicious and you would only need a few packs to get enough to use as votives. Just a thought. I really like how you do not complain about prices. I think it’s nice you tell us what you pay and let Us draw our own conclusions. You are a pleasure!

The Pioneer Woman bowls are sold at WalMart and the" Pioneer Woman" is Ree Drummond. When I saw the creel, I thought uh oh...that'll certainly go to the cabin! Wow! I need to come thrifting up your way! Thrifting in East Texas is pathetic! Everyone has jacked up prices soo high that it's very slim pickings for resalers! I had better luck on a trip home to Illinois than I ever have down here! I just need a bigger suitcase or a UHaul truck next time! :) Love your ideas and can't wait to try a few!
