Mr Carrington The brown in the water from the macrame was probably from someone smoking alot. It just needs many washings until you get it all out. Oxyclean is a good alternative to bleach for this.

Anything to help for extra coats to spray clear gloss in between each coat of paint

I’m impressed, everything looks fantastic, especially the lamp, which was genius, I cannot understand why anyone, in their right mind, would think that lampshade would look good on that beautiful lamp 😮 Everything else is lovely. You have lots of plants, I have two orchids, desert plants are the only ones I can keep alive, and only because I remember to water them every time I change my water filter!! It’s good that I only have the two, I have no room for any more, I live in a rented flat and can only hang so many things on the wall, all dedicated to family photographs 😊 I really enjoy watching your videos.

Well done! I lived in the British Isles for a few years n I really liked the charity shops there... that said. Every OAP I met there could always come up w/an idea of what to do with any bits n bobs I found. (Obviously no one should ever say the brits are not a very creative and thrifty ppl) unfortunately not many ppl my own age were interested in reuse yet, I'm glad to see this is changing.

Great ideas, i have that tortoise plant pot, it was gifted to me in the 80s & is from m&s, it came with a plant & they sold for around £10, mines been sitting in a cubbord for ages but you've made me want to give him a new lease of life now & jazz him up, love these videos xx 😊👍

Next time just throw things like the fringe and macramé plant hanger in a pillowcase (tie it closed) and wash in the washer on delicate :) Beautiful DIY’s! I’m happy to have come across your channel!

If you toss some white vinegar into the water before you wash dark colored things (like the icky macrame hanger) it will set the dye so it doesn't leach out.

I've scrubbed nicotine off of my Mom's place, room by room it wasn't fun but helped with her breathing issues. **I think the brown ick in the tub was the nicotine.** I used trisodium phosphate we call it TSP in the states. But make sure to use gloves til it's rinsed. It will eat your hands.

Loved the end mirror result and the 3 boxes you painted blue or purple and the lamp with no shade just the cool bulb. The box I would have left but on the bottom I would have painted white and did a stencil of a picture or saying in a different color and hung it on the wall. Liked your video so will subscribe.

First time watching IMPRESSIVE...... Love the idea with the lamp.... genius Love the tray with tassel........genius The turtle looks great.... love everything..... Just for speed and ease and a proper proper wash throw things like macrame planter hanger into the washing in a pillowcase if it has wooden beads and give it a couple goes round in the washing machine... plus you can add a little fabric softener to make it smell nice. Just think it really really gets the smell of smoke out properly as once wet they can stink if not washed properly. You can still do it now 😀 Thanks for the great ideas 👍🏻
