Scott, you do realize that celery vase is roughly 140 years old?! Those Platonite cups and saucers were also marketed as demi tasse or after dinner coffee service. Candlewick was introduced in 1936 and some pieces were still being made when Imperial closed in 1984.

The ruby flashed piece is Westmoreland, Wakefield, and the single piece that you passed up is a open candy. Surprisingly valuable, maybe you can go back and get it.

I kept picturing that huge cream and green mixing bowl behind your head, with those lovely mums placed within. The celery vase is a great piece, and would work very well as a flower vase, which night be why it has some cloudiness. I don't believe we hold celery in such high regard today, and serving it authentically would probably baffle most people today. I love it when you're on your porch, it's very comforting, as if I'm hanging out with you there. Thanks!

Vinnie would love your blue fish ashtray. He collects that set of tumbles & ice bucket. Very few ABP glass are marked. You can tell by the color (yes color) of the glass it's from one of the big glass houses and early half of the period.

Whoopie Fizz, indeed! That incredible cream and green bowl you found was probably used as a 'dough bowl' during the Depression when folks made their own homemade daily loaves of bread! They didn't typically make one loaf, they made several at a time, thus the need for a large bowl. That 'girl' was loved and used and she has seen some stuff! I love it! Also, yes, I fully expect to see 'flea bites' on most antique cut glass items, it's typical. However, it does not detract from their beauty! That Fostoria syrup set is 'Chef's Kiss' goodness! 😍

Ima covet that Fostoria syrup and underpants......Please film re-doing the lovely black lamp. Celery Vase~ Adam's and co glass company (1861-1891) introduced in 1882. No. 75 AKA: Post or Square Panes. I'd be a bit cloudy too if I was 144 years old :)

Yes I had the Georgian pattern tumblers and pitcher here in the UK in the 70s. I bought them using Green Shield Stamps given when you bought fuel.

Hi, I loved the green and cream mixing bowl. I imagine all types of breads rising in it, cakes, pancake batter, or scrambled eggs. Remember they had large families then. The pink sugar bowl and creamer would love to have. Did you find out who was the maker of those? Did they have matching dinnerware? Hope you had a great dinner with Mom and your Stepdad.
