I think someone painted that turkey and it was vintage. Sad but it’s still nice. The way you decorated it reminds me of homemade vintage she uses velvet bows and silverware in hers as well. Good video Jess.

I lived in Florida for 6 years. They had the best thrift stores with fantastic prices like we see in your videos! Now back home in Cincinnati and Goodwill is very pricey with not a lot of selection.😢. Love what you showed us.❤

Hi Jessica! Those trunks were a steal! Such great finds for Christmas! You could hide the kids presents in there! LOL I have a turkey basket too! It's a good size so I put rolls in there! I have also put napkins! It's fun and festive! That silverware looked great in that turkey planter.

Those trunks are amazing!! I could see one of them in the entryway at Christmastime. I would open the lid and use it to display a Christmas quilt, a smaller Christmas tree and maybe some vintage Christmas toys, like a doll or a truck! Great finds!!!❤️🎄❤️

I love copper, you found some great pieces. Love how you styled them. I've never seen A pinecone battery candle, cute! I love the big wicker laundry baskets, which can be used for decor as well of course!😉 My Daughter had one with the lining like that she used for the kids laundry & I have a square shaped one with the lining that I keep rolled up throw blankets in. Great price & so cute styled that way! I like the turkey white, if i did anything if just rub it down with antiquing wax to make it look older, like a piece ironstone. I like the idea of putting the utensils in it, looks really nice & pretty too!🦃 I really like the turkey basket! If definitely age it with the wax & use it for napkins, bread, muffins, candy or greenery/florals. Very versital! (The piece under the neck is a beard😉) Oh I love the trunks.. awesome price! I have an antique steamer trunk from the 1850's. It's real wood and the inside has a newspaper print, but not actually newspaper. Its red with black metal trim & hardware and stained wood strips across the top & one that goes all around the 4 sides. It has leather straps & handles and its actually in good shape! Its A large one, i have all my bed linens & a handmade quilt stored in it. I want to find another antique one in a darker color.. like black or brown.. to use for a coffee table. I didn't really want a red coffee table, but I absolutely love this trunk! Those really will make beautiful Christmas decor! Awesome score! You had a great haul and I enjoyed the video.😊 Have a blessed week!

You could add wrapped mint candies to the wicker turkey. I wouldn't change the color of the pottery turkey. I was thinking of adding a plaid cloth napkin in it and then the cutlery. Would a wine bottle fit?

You found some great things. The Goodwill’s by me just have junk. I love the pine cone candle. This makes me want to go thrifting. We don’t do that too much anymore. We can’t find any good stores near us. There is one we passed by on the way to my dentist appointment. So I may have to stop there someday soon. You could stick some flowers in the turkey as a centerpiece on your table.i like it white. I have two small globes. I know we had one of the bigger blue ones when my daughters were young. But those are so expensive now. I love the one you found for Miles. Those trunks are nice. I would open them and put a tree inside. Use it as a stand or some thing. I would se the separately they’re the perfect colors for Chistmas.

Great haul! I think the turkey looks great as is but this is how I'm gonna paint my wooden nutcrackers. I know their wooden but on the video, these looked like real antique brass with patina. Spray paint with shellac and while wet spray with metallic brass.

To tell if something is all copper, tray a magnet on it. All copper is not magnetic. The cute turkey basket would be cute for rolls. The beautiful trunks would make a great end table stacked together.
