My friend didn't have any family old pictures. She picked up over time adults and children pictures. She has given then all names and how they were related to her. She now has her family scattered around her house. Great hull.

One of the lockets with the people is a fragment of a painting by Rembrandt. I hope that you know who that is. It’s aself portrait of Rembrandt and his wife Saskia and it hangs in a museum in Dresden Germany

The brass topped bottle your mom gifted is so pretty and would look great filled with vintage pearl buttons in different shapes and sizes. Sometimes you can buy them by the jar full. Those Audubon bird prints were a great find!! Always enjoy seeing what you find at the shops.

Wow. You found amazing treasures. Those Cadbury’s Antarctic Series are shown on a website and are from 1913! I wonder if they came in candy or cigarette packages? I figured folks aren’t smiling in pictures since it took so long to pose for them. Your face would probably ache while the film was being exposed to take the shot. I too like old pictures Danielle and I am lucky enough to have some old pictures of my actual grandparents and their siblings which I am happy to display, I don't think you collecting those are creepy at all because they need to be rescued lol. Ar means eagle and dis means goddess . Ardis is used as a man’s name, but it can be used as a girls name, too. In Latvia , it’s a man’s name, for example. And Ardis is also used as a family name. 😂 so, it doesn’t brought us any further 🤷🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

People say they look angry or sad, but it's just the way the picture takes so long to take, you had to sit perfectly still for so long!

I love your videos and decorating style. I just wanted to mention something about higher prices at antique stores. I have an antique booth at our local vintage farmhouse antique store. To keep products in my booth I spend my time online looking at items at estate sales and on FB Marketplace. I then drive to the estate sales or to pick up the items at a person's house which could be a substantial drive with me paying the high cost of gas. I pay for the item and clean it up and often I store the item. I then bring it to my booth and display it. I pay a monthly booth rental of $95 plus 12% fee to the store owner. So, when you see an item at an antique store, just know that someone has put a lot of work into curating that item. I LOVE your finds. While I collect more farmhouse-ish items, I do love your Victorian style!

You have such great ideas-the prize ribbons in a frame will look amazing. I have the same stand mirror-I bought it new in 1987. It is silver plate. I believe it was around $30 new, so maybe you weren’t ripped off after all. I still use it!

I love Aunt Griselda! Wow, I would have arm wrestled you to get to hang her on my wall. I have NEVER found a portrait that size anywhere for a price like you did. I think I just made a Smithers "Excellent" gesture🤣🤣 I think some ribbon flowers or tiny millinery flowers could look nice in the jar, small shells maybe (or shell buttons of course), or what about a collection of vintage white rhinestone earrings?
